The present day US government administration does not seem to understand how to tell an enemy from a friend. As the Obama administration alienates Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Israel, it ‘bends over backwards’ to yield to Iran and other Islamic radicals, not even wanting to label them terrorists! However, the facts are that the present Iranian government is our enemy and while our ‘milk-toast’ negotiators give and give, they demand even more while they practice blowing us up. Admiral Ali Fadavi, head of the Revolutionary Guards Navy, who practiced blowing up a replica US Navy carrier is quoted –

Adm. Ali Fadavi ordered Iranian forces to target a replica of the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier during their forthcoming war games. “We should learn about the weaknesses and strengths of our enemy” he said.

President Obama is quick to accuse Christians of Crusade atrocities against Muslims but he cannot bring himself to label Islamic radicals as terrorists, even though they themselves claim they are committing their terrorist acts in the name of Islam! What he doesn’t say is that the crusades began in the first place because of Islamic atrocities against Christians.

I for one do not blame the Prime Minister of Israel trying to sway the US Congress to stop this madness, because he knows Israel will be first on the receiving line of Iranian nuclear weapons. And a blind man can see this administration is ignorant, perhaps willingly, of Iran’s intentions. A group of Iranians living in exile, named the National Council of Resistance of Iran, claims Iran has secret nuclear facilities that have been operating since 2008. The US government doubts this and has no evidence of it. Somehow this doesn’t reassure anyone as we all remember how Democrats and the news media lambasted George Bush because they found no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq for years – that is until ISIS took the city of Samarra and found them!

Now why, you may ask, does a blog dedicated to understanding prophesy get so political? The reason is to introduce the Song of Moses.

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.
Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, “Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?”
And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods.
Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.
For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant.
And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I sware.
Moses therefore wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel.” – Deuteronomy 31:17-22 (KJV)

As soon as they had rest from their enemies and things began to get prosperous for them, they forgot the God who brought it all about! And then God had to remove His hand of protections allowing their own rebellious ways to produce the inevitable results of trouble and blindness to truth.

Now I know The United States of America was not founded as a theocracy but, we were founded by Christians. Both Pilgrims and Puritans came to this country seeking to establish Godly principles. Our founding fathers wrote such things as –

“God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the Gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever; That a revolution of the wheel of fortune, a change of situation, is among possible events; that it may become probable by Supernatural influence! The Almighty has no attribute which can take side with us in that event.”–(Notes on the State of Virginia, Query XVIII, p. 237.) and – “I am a real Christian – that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus Christ.”–(The Writings of Thomas Jefferson, p. 385.)

But just like the early Hebrews, as soon as we began to enjoy the blessings of the Almighty we are turning away from His protecting influence to other gods of humanism, Buddhism, Islam, atheism, materialism, and all the other isms that are out there. So, we have been given leaders “devoid of judgement” as the Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Thessalonians 2:11 –

“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:”

If we do not repent and turn back, we will continue to get blind leaders like the current ones and world despots like Iran and ISIS will continue thumbing their noses at us attacking us with impunity. But, if we learn the Song of Moses and take it to heart, we will be able to join the Revelation chorus who sang it like it was meant to be sung!

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? For thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.” – Rev 15:3-4 KJV
