I have been posting about the 2014-2015 Blood Red Moon Tetrad and the eclipses it contains, but there is another important sign hidden within them that gives grave news for the world. It is called the Shemitah. Rabbi Joseph Cahn has written about it in his recent book, The Mystery of the Shemitah and he explains in an interview with Charisma Magazine –

Cahn’s warning has to do with what is known as the biblical Shemitah, or the Sabbath Year. During this year, according to Exodus and Leviticus, there was to be no working of the land. The last day of the Shemitah, Elul 29, is considered the “wipeout day” when all debts were “wiped clean.” The Shemitah is meant to be a blessing, but when Israel turned away from God it became “a sign of judgment on a nation that has driven God out of its life.”

In The Mystery of the Shemitah, Cahn described how this biblical pattern is connected to numerous events in modern history, including the rise of America to superpower status, World Wars I and II, the return of the Jewish people to their ancient homeland, the Six-Day War and even the rising of the World Trade Center.

He also noted a pattern of judgments at seven-year intervals in September 2001 and 2008 marked by the greatest crashes in Wall Street history, up to that time. The first occurred on Sept. 17, 2001, just a few days after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, and the second occurred on Sept. 29, 2008. Both occurred on the biblical day of Elul 29, the very day appointed to wipe out the financial accounts of a nation. The next one occurs on Sept. 13.

“For years, financial observers have been mystified why it is that all the greatest crashes tend to take place the same time of year,” Cahn says. “When is it? September to October. What if we take the greatest crashes in history. Do any of them take place at the end of the seven-year cycle of the Shemitah at the time of the wipeout and the answer is, ‘Yes.’ Every single one of them does. And the thing is the phenomenon is increasing. It’s intensifying.”

While the current Shemitah runs from September 2014 through this September, Cahn told the audience that the “Super Shemitah”—or the year of Jubilee, the year at the end of seven cycles of the Shemitah—begins this September and runs through September 2016.

“What people don’t realize is one of the missing keys of end-times prophecy is the Shemitah,” says Cahn, author of The Harbinger, which has sold more than 2 million copies. “What’s the end of end-times prophecy? The Tribulation. How long is the Tribulation period? Seven years. It’s a cycle of Shemitahs that goes back to Daniel’s 70 sevens, which is linked to the Shemitah and linked to the judgment of Israel and the 70 years of judgment. Every seventh year is a Shemitah, but every seventh Shemitah is a Super-Shemitah, which we call the Jubilee … .” – Rabbi Joseph Cahn, The Shemitah Unraveled: What 2015-2016 Could Bring

Now at the very time these heavenly signs coinciding with Biblical appointed times are occurring, we have a president who is purposely weakening decades old ties to our allies in the Middle East; Israel, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, etc.. At the same time he is building bridges with radical Islamic regimes, such as Iran. He has threatened Israel with sanctions and even stronger measures from the UN because Israel has dared to speak out against a nuclear armed Iran (I will say more about this later). This could just be one sign that we are closer to the end of the age than most believe because God predicted this would happen –

“I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land (2 state solution)  .” – Joel 3:2 (emphasis added)

“For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. (dividing Jerusalem)” – Zechariah 14:2 (emphasis added)

Obama has long believed America is a colonial power that needs to be brought down to make room for others. Democrats and other liberal minded supporters are likely to get more than they bargained for as their mantra of “Hope and Change” takes them in a direction they didn’t plan on. This coming September 13th will begin the next Shemitah, which will also be a super-Shemitah, or Jubilee year. It also will begin the Feast of Trumpets, which declares a time of Alarm! It will likely be a time of great economic crisis and turmoil, greater than the Great Depression of the 1920-30’s! It could also explain a question I have had for some time – “Why isn’t the United States mentioned as coming to Israel’s aid in the war with Gog, described in Ezekiel 38-39?” Perhaps we are not able to be involved? Or we have a president who refuses to be involved?

President Obama is on the wrong course in his negotiations with Iran and Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel is not the only one saying so. The French are about to walk out of the talks with Iran, the Saudis are warning against it, and former General David Petraeus is warning as well.

“Retired general David Petraeus, who gave a remarkable interview this week to the Washington Post. Petraeus agrees with Netanyahu: Iran, not ISIS, is the real enemy. His message: “I would argue that the foremost threat to Iraq’s long-term stability and the broader regional equilibrium is not the Islamic State; rather, it is Shiite militias, many backed by — and some guided by — Iran”

CIA agent Jim Rickards, head of Project Prophesy, an operation dealing with cyber financial terrorism, is also warning of an eminent financial collapse in the US. This sounds like a Shemitah warning!

God is giving clear warning signs to those who are looking and willing to listen. Financial and military troubles are coming soon and only those who turn to God will be able to find a way through them! As the Bible declares, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” – Psalm 33:12. That does not mean those who say they are Christian but, those who act like they are Christian!
