For my 80th birthday I received a special gift and I want to share some of it with you because it helps define what true riches are – family. While I have 8 wonderful children, 30 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren and all of them are precious and special – each in their own way, seven of them worked on a special gift for me – a music album for Christmas. They named themselves Day of Eternity and the album is named Emmanu-El, which means God with us. They all sing and play the instruments for the songs featured, one song even written by one of the girls. Below is the lead song Emmanu-El.
It is special to me, first because my grandchildren did it but, also because I love Christmas. Christmas helps me to remember that God looked into the future and knew I would come on the scene and that I would be a rascal that would need His special intervention – there are many of us around. I know many argue that December 25th may not be the actual date Jesus came but, what is more important – He did come and paid for my sin, even though it cost Him His life. You can’t get greater love than that. He came for each of you also and His love can cover your sin also if you will receive Him.

The Song below is We Long for You written by my Granddaughter Megan
Christmas is not Santa Claus or X-mas, or decorations and gifts around a tree. It is the greatest gift ever given to man and it doesn’t matter who you are or what color you are, how rich or poor you are or where you come from – the gift is the same. His name is Emmanuel (God with us), Yeshua (Salvation), or Jesus (the Lamb of God).
I pray you will enjoy this short message and the songs in it and that all find the true Joy of Christmas – Jesus our Messiah.
The ending Hebrew verse is taken from Isaiah 51:9, “Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord! Awake as in the ancient days, in the generations of old.” and Isaiah 52:6, “Therefore My people shall know My name; Therefore they shall know in that day that I am He who speaks, ‘Hineni (Here am I).'”
