“And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” – Revelation 6:9-11

During the first four seals many true believers have suffered for their faith in God and Jesus. In the fifth seal we understand that God has not forgotten or overlooked them or their suffering. They are under His Altar, close to His heart. Their blood will be avenged, just as the blood of righteous Abel cried our from the earth to God, their blood and prayers will result in the rescuing of many from the ravages of hell and to the rest of their persecutors the result of their demonic hatred will result in the fires of hell. God tells them to ‘rest yet for a little season‘ until the fullness of martyrs for the Lord comes in.

I believe we are presently witnessing the fulfillment of this seal as from 2016 until now 90,000 Christians have been martyred for their faith around the world.

H. R. 4017 introduced by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher of CA , This bill will be called the Save Christians from Genocide Act. Rev. Franklin Graham recently declared Christian persecution is rapidly increasing in many nations around the world.

The prophet Isaiah prophesied that in the last days lawlessness and gross darkness would control the people –

“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” – Isaiah 60:2

He said there would be no justice and those who tried to speak truth would make themselves a prey for abuse and persecution.

“In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.” – Isaiah 59:13-15

If you speak against the blatant immorality of Hollywood, the decadent homosexual lifestyle sweeping the land, the killing of our innocent babies and selling their body parts then continuing to fund it with tax dollars, you will be persecuted in most places on earth! This is the ‘gross darkness’ that has covered the people but, it is in the midst of this lawlessness that we are told to shine!

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.” – Isaiah 60:1

Remember, we are called light and salt and when do the lights look the brightest? When it is darkest!

Daniel predicted these times of darkness at the end of the age, saying –

The Wise Virgins

“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” – Daniel 12:3

We can hide our light under a bushel and be swept away by the evil or we can go out in a blaze of glory as Daniel was told –

“Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.” – Daniel 12:10

These are the wise virgins who were filled with the oil of the Holy Spirit and went out into the darkness to shine! And these are the righteous who will be under the altar in the 5th seal. Some will be martyred, some will be delivered, all will enjoy victory.

This concludes the 5th seal, which I believe we are currently in, but, the 6th seal is very close – perhaps within a few months of time. It is certainly time to get right with God and His Messiah, Jesus. Let no pressure from this wicked world hinder you from settling your accounts with God. Scripture declares “Today is the day of salvation!” Tomorrow — ?.
