God’s Replacement Theology – the New Man Replaces the Old Man!

Abrams call genesis12v2-3

“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” – Gen. 12:1-3

This is the beginning of the promise to the Root. Many think it applies only to Jews but, it applies to all nations –

“For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.” – Romans 11:16-18

The world doesn’t accept this, but then, they have always rebelled against God. What is troubling is that many in the Church of Jesus Christ also seem to be confused on this issue. I believe that after all is said and done and Jesus has returned He will have a Bride, the true Church, that includes both Jew and Gentile. Paul tells us why Jesus died on the cross –

one-new-man“For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:” – Ephesians 2:14-16

There is no room for boasting, either by Jew or Gentile, for we both are grafted into the holy Root by God’s Grace alone.

Since many have a hard time accepting this, I will close this article with a brief video –

(Thanks to Day of Eternity for the background song – Praise awaits you in Zion)

I wish you the “blessings of Abraham” but, you only get them if you bless him and his progeny.
