The last two chapters of Revelation describe the new heaven and the new earth that is coming but, more important, they describe the hope of mankind –
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” – Rev.:21:4,5
Hidden in this promise is the message every politician tries to claim and also the promises Satan makes, but neither can fulfill. Only God can make and fulfill this promise! Jesus is there as well and He has a message for all those who choose God –
“And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” – Rev 21:6-8
I recently read a Hillsong pastor in San Francisco explaining why they don’t preach against homosexuality or transgenderism. He said “We preach God is love and we don’t get into moral negatives.” Yes, God is Love but, what loving parent would not warn His child of the dangers in the world? In the above verse Jesus, who is love, does just that. Only ‘He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son’. He then lists all the lifestyles that will keep us out of heaven.
Many churches are failing to proclaim the truth of God’s word, such as –
- The Church of England accepting Transgenderism
- Churches opening their doors to Muslims claiming Jehovah God is the same as Allah
- Church worship? Or church entertainment complete with disco balls.
Church entertainment instead of worship to God
Charles Spurgeon, evangelist of yesteryear, predicted these trends in the Church by a poster statement –
In these last chapters of Revelation, The Bride of Christ will have made herself ready and she will look nothing like most of the church today.
“And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.“ – Rev. 21:9
What John sees is the New Jerusalem coming down out of heaven; having the glory of God on her, and having 12 gates which are named for the 12 tribes of Israel, and 12 foundations which are the 12 apostles of the Lord, the walls are garnished with precious stones, and it has no need for sun, moon, or stars –
“And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof” – Rev 21:23

the new Jerusalem
She will not look like a sexy flapper but like a glorious city – why? I believe God is saying that the church He wants for a bride will be holy, as He is holy. She will not be Gentile, nor will she be Jewish in a legalistic sense. She will be the One New Man jesus died for –
“For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:” – Eph 2:14-16
Jesus is the ‘root of Abraham’ that we all are being grafted into. The Bride will have Jewish roots; the Feasts of the Lord will be known and have meaning to her, the law will be fulfilled in us, not in a legalistic way but in its spirit, and we will be singing the song of Moses –
“And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.” – Rev 15:2-4
Finally, the Lord invites us to choose which side we will be on –
“Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. … He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” – Rev. 22:7-12
I pray these teachings will encourage you to study the Book of Revelation and obtain the blessings found in it.
Seriously I do not understand the things happening anymore. This post has only made me more confuse. My church definitely preaches against transgenderism, the bible tells us to love one another as we love ourselves, with love there is no inferiority. Then why the struggle against transgenderism. I heard that the people who practice it can’t even help it.

I am breaking down
I can’t understand what I need to, simply because even the devil can quote the bible (Mathew: 4)
