This song’s message needs to be heard by the Church.

As I wrote in Preparation for the Battle Ahead, there is no victory in this end-time battle for the lukewarm. Churches that have surrendered to the world’s standards will not be able to stand for Christ in the battles ahead. Those that do not preach the word of God to sinners will not stand with Christ. They will instead be given a “spirit of strong delusion”, so they cannot receive the truth of God.

“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” – 2 Thes. 2:10-12

This is not my declaration – it is what God Himself is saying. I am saying that 2018 is going to usher in this truth more than in former years. We had better all strive to be more righteous than ever before. The Golden Rule had better become a guideline for our treatment of others. We had better begin honoring the true God of Creation like never before and I can tell you as a retired teacher of science and math that the doctrine of Evolution is a false doctrine. It is a deception designed by the devil to destroy faith in God.

In these last days God promised to send a ‘latter rain’ of the Holy Spirit and many in the Church are awaiting it but, they are forgetting an important truth. It will be like the ‘former rain’, only stronger! And this is what John the Baptist said about the former rain –

“John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” – Luke 3:16

Christians often forget ‘the fire’ part of the promise but God does not! Fire cleanses and purifies and God intends to have a bride for His Son that is spotless and pure. John goes on to declare –

“His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.” – Luke 3:17

Many in the Church have ‘chaff’ in their lives and their pastors are not preaching a message that calls them to repentance. Hill Song church concerts that hype emotions with lights and fireworks but never mention sin because that would be too negative will not prepare you for the days ahead. Jesus has a message for all such churches –

“And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire … “ – Rev. 3:14-18

These churches look at the Church of Jesus Christ as another ‘big business’ and use CEO tactics to grow it – forsaking the truth if it gets in the way of their plans.

The time is late and God is loosing patience with those churches and they are about to have their ‘Lamp stand’ removed –

“Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lamp-stand from its place—unless you repent.” – Rev. 2:5
