“A Psalm of David.

To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me. Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause. Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths.” – Ps. 25:1-4

Remember the story of Lot in Sodom? God was about to judge Sodom because of their wickedness, which went much further than just sodomy. But, as Abraham interceded with God, it was determined that if God could find even 10 righteous people there, He would not judge it. Now most know the result of those negotiations but, I want to draw your attention to another aspect of the story and that is the value of righteous people.  Sodom could have been saved if just 10 righteous people could have been found!

Who is a righteous person? Proverbs declares, “The righteous man walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him.” In other words, a righteous person is honest and truthful and loves God’s truth. He (she) is also a family person who loves his (her) children and trains them up on the ways of God.

A righteous person is like light which dispels the darkness. They are like salt that preserves a society. As Proverbs declares – “Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.” (Prov. 14:34). There is not one part of society that is not blessed by having righteous people. So when government, whether it is national, state, or local pass laws and rules that afflict the righteous, they are really hurting themselves and will not receive the blessings of the Lord.

When George Washington was sworn in as our first President, he gave thanks to God for His providence and gave this warning to future generations –

“we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained” – George Washington, 1789

In other words, God smiles on the righteous, those who honor and obey His word. Now I say these things to highlight issues I want to talk about next. Public Schools in America are their own worst enemy! They have outlawed God’s words and commands from public education in favor of pleasing the godless and those who serve false gods. The ‘Separation of State and Religion’ doctrine is a false idea that was never in our Constitution and in fact was denied by the majority of our founders. They did not want a specific church denomination preferred over another but, that is a long way from expelling God from the curricula! In the public schools today, atheists, witches, and sexual perverts have more rights than the righteous. False gods can have their holidays

celebrated but not Christians. Muslims demand special ‘prayer rooms’ and menus for their free meals which Christians are forced to pay for! One Muslim woman declared to a school board – “We Must Have Pork-Free Menus Or We Will Leave U.S.”

In fact the bedrock dogma of public education is humanism, which is itself a religion. They have made the schools their own Temples and the ‘Abomination that Desolates’ has already been erected. Christians beware! By sending your children to public schools, you are sacrificing them to the spirit of Antichrist! But, many so-called Christians will say, “I can’t afford not to send my kids to public schools. I have to work.” In other words what you are really saying is, “money is more important to me than my kids!” To that I say, “You can’t afford to send them to public school,  not if you care about their souls!”

I know some of you will say I don’t know what I’m talking about or it’s not really that bad. And I admit, some are better than others but, the downward trend is obvious. But, I have more college degrees than 70% of you and 33 years teaching experience in public schools and I pastored churches for about 15 years and I say – it’s that bad! The American family is disintegrating before our eyes and much of the fault are the lies being taught in public schools and the failure of the Church in America to teach the full truth of God’s word and stand behind the family. Churches seem to care more about their members tithe than about their well being.

There are many home school groups that can help you solve this dilemma. And I urge churches to get actively involved helping your members solve this problem. I love prophecy and the signs of the times but, this is one sign that is woefully overlooked in America.
