Christians, you are in the battle.

Remember

We in America have been blessed with a Constitutional Republic which history has proven to be the most stable of governments – if one thing is true. That one thing was penned by our 2nd President, John Adams –

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

1585350762-j__adamsYou remember John Adams don’t you? He is the one who said the Bible was the most republican book in the world. Maybe that is why the Democrats and liberals want to forget him AND the Bible! Gov. Jerry Brown of California has introduced a bill into the CA Congress that will muzzle not only the Bible but all organization who teach what it says. It has passed their Assembly and is on its way to the Senate. When you start cow-toeing to liberal Antichrist groups like the Freedom from Religion in WI. or the ACLU, this is what you will eventually get. Other Constitution haters are going after the 2nd Amendment because all totalitarian groups, be they socialist or fascists (really these two groups are the same – remember the official name of the Nazis was The Democratic Socialist Party) know they must disarm the people to control them. And if anyone with any standing speaks against them,  such as Wells Fargo, they will try to take them out as well with threats and violence.

In my last post I warned that “The United States is standing at the precipice, a tipping point, from which if it goes over it will likely never recover.” But, I want you to understand that these battles are not just political, or educational, or even financial, even though that may all be involved. They are spiritual in nature and a spiritual force is behind them. Paul warns us about this in the Book of Ephesians –

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” – Eph. 6:12

First these spiritual hosts will war against you, to eliminate you from the battle. They will use your weaknesses to accuse you and threaten to expose you if you continue the fight but, remember the Bible states that a righteous person may stumble seven times but they get up and continue (Prov. 24:16). You see, you are the light and if they can get you to stop shinning, then they can spread their gross darkness on the world. So Paul warns the Ephesians to put on the full armor of God. And put away attitudes that are of the world –

“Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” – Eph. 4:25-32

This is a big list and we all fail from time to time but, God will help us if we get up and continue in Christ. Every time we fall and get up we get stronger.

I hope you take this in the spirit in which it is given. The battle is intense and will only get more so as we near the end of the war. But God lets us each face these struggles so we will be soldiers that can overcome and gain the victory.

  1. AP interviewed the author of the CA Bill and he claimed it does not ban the Bible. However, others say the bill is very broadly written and could be interpreted by the PC police to censor the Bible.
