Psalm 2 reveals a truth that liberals who are being controlled by the spirit of Antichrist should know about – GOD IS IN CONTROL!
“Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us. He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure: Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.” … Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.” – Psalm 2
Man is just now beginning to understand DNA and the mysteries of its determinations in our lives – but God knew about it from the beginning because He created it. He knows the end from the beginning and He alone has determined the seasons of our destination. He locked it all in the seals of Revelation which no one could open except the Son. The future is fixed, revealed in the heavens and by the Word of God.
One would think this condemns mankind to a sort of slavery over which they have no control but, this is not true. In the very midst of this fixed and predictable system of creation, God created man and gave him the godlike ability to choose which path to take – the path that leads to eternal life or the one that leads to eternal death. Some think the devil won in the Garden of Eden when he was able to tempt man away from obedience to God but, he did not. God knew all about it and provided a way of return to the pathway that leads to life in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ who was to become the sacrifice lamb.
“It was granted to him (the Antichrist) to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him (the Antichrist) over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him (the Antichrist), whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” – Rev. 13:7,8
Throughout time God has left witnesses to his plan for mankind, a kind of road map if you will: the story is told in the Constellations and heavenly signs, God also sent prophets to man to correct them when they strayed from the Royal pathway that leads to eternal life. He even formed a special nation of men to acts as priests and prophets to reveal the proper way to all nations – the nation of Israel. And when they also fell prey to the evil one, God sent His Son and His Holy Spirit to form the Church who was to be a light shining on the pathway. He even knew many in His Church would fall away from the true pathway into apostasy but, there will always be a remnant of faithful who will follow Him to the end. God’s plan did not involve an easy welfare type plan that the Garden of Eden appears to be, where everything is provided free of charge because God knew this would not be good for man – what involves no cost is often despised. While we cannot buy our salvation, there will still be a cost of sorts. We will have to obey and follow Him, even through the valley of the shadow of death.
“just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed. So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.” – Gal. 3:6-9
“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.” – Gal 3:26
While God’s pathway is often shrouded in mystery and hard to find (Jesus declared it is narrow and few there be who find it – Matt. 7:14), God left clues for those who will search. The number sequence 3:16 is a such a clue.
The mystery of 3:16 is enhanced by the knowledge that the chapters were added after the Bible was written. God obviously even had a hand in this. A few 3:16 verses are familiar to many.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16
“John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.“ – Luke 3:16
“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?“ – 1 Cor. 3:16
These verses give clear instructions on how to follow God. Don’t listen to anyone who says they aren’t for you today. While not every 3:16 verse has central doctrines of Scriptures, many have very clear instructions of how to follow God’s leading. Hidden in the Word of God are many mysteries which will be revealed to those who earnestly seek them out.
That is one of the central truths about prophesy. It is God’s urging to keep us on the right pathway to Him. I hope and pray that you find this pathway to life and that I have been faithful in helping you to do so.
