Jesus sent a letter to the church of Sardis in which He said –

“And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.” – Rev. 3:1

‘You are dead’ is a pretty drastic judgment to those claiming to be Christian followers of Jesus. Jesus even warned their names would be blotted out of the Book of Life. They forgot the message of Peter to believers –

” … as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” – 1 Pet. 1:15-19

Peter warns those who are redeemed from their former lusts and ignorance to live holy lives based on the truth of God’s word. We have a lot of Sardis church members among us now who are living according to the devil’s playbook instead of Christ’s. They think going to church one day a week and giving their tithes will absolve them of all the lies they support throughout the week – but, it won’t! You can’t support those who enable abortion or adultery such as Hollywood and Planned Parenthood and claim to be holy. And those who vote for those who do support them are guilty by association.

Planned Parenthood (Their very name is a lie!) is given millions of dollars by corrupt politicians every year to kill our most precious possession – our children, and they use this money to elect more Democrats –

When Democrats use sleazy tactics to derail Judge Kavanaugh, even using false testimony and the news media backs them buying it ‘hook line and sinker’ without looking for the truth, they cannot also claim to be Christians depending upon the blood of Jesus to redeem them. They need to hear Jesus speaking to the church of Sardis –

“Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.” – Rev. 3:3
