When God sent His Son to earth, there were heavenly signs that were revealed. They appeared to all mankind but, only the wise men understood their meaning and responded –

“Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” – Matt. 2:1, 2

When Jesus came the first time, His birth was announced with ‘a heavenly star’ that the wise men from the east saw and understood. There have been many suppositions about what the star was but, one thing is clear – there was a heavenly sign that was unmistakable to those who were searching for it. After Jesus was resurrected and passed into heaven on the clouds, the angels said to the disciples‘ This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven’. It is clear that His second coming will be announced with heavenly signs as well.

What will that sign be? Will it be another retrograde motion of the planet Jupiter in the womb of Virgo, as happened September 23, 2017? Or will it be a giant asteroid passing nearby earth as is scheduled early next year? Or will it be Planet X passing between the earth and the sun? Whatever it is, Jesus tells us what to watch for –

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” – Luke 21:25-27

Whereas the wise men saw only one sign – the star, when Jesus comes again there will be multiple signs announcing His return – in the sun, the moon, and the stars! Do these signs happen all at once? Or over a period of years? In 2014-15 we saw the Blood Red Moon tetrads on the biblical feast days. In 2017 we saw the heavenly sign of Virgo described in Revelation 12 fulfilled. Later that year we saw a super Blood Red Moon over Jerusalem and in January of 2019 we will see a Super Blood Red Moon over the United States. Jesus said there would also be distress of nations and we certainly see that, as middle eastern nations prepare for war with Israel. Many nations are building underground cities for their leaders and populations because of what they see coming.

As planet X nears, we are already feeling the gravitational effects as our pole has shifted several degrees causing weather pattern changes. What if it were to pass between us and the sun, causing the sun to go dark. Joel prophesies of this time –

“And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.” _ Joel 2:30,31

If Planet X passed between earth and the sun, all that Joel predicted would happen plus what Jesus foretold. The ‘sea and waves’ would be roaring as likely tsunamis hit in many places. The gravitational pull would set off volcanoes and earthquakes unparalleled. And great fear would strike mankind causing many heart attacks.

But, whatever means God uses to fulfill these words, two things we know: (1) His word will come to pass, and (2) it will be accompanied with heavenly signs.

So, as you celebrate Christmas this year, remember that it only begins a story. A story that may soon be finished in our lifetime. We have been given 2000 years to ready ourselves for its conclusion. God has done His part – have you?
