Isaiah brings an accusation against the people of his day that could be spoken against the rulers of today –
“For your hands are defiled with blood, And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity.” – Isa. 59:3
I’m sorry to have to say it but left-leaning politicians, mostly Democrats, will stoop to any level to get what they want, and that includes lying. The following video reveals this to be true –
This is the reason you cannot believe what the media (TV and newspapers) spout as fact. And this includes what you read and hear on social media. Even the so-called fact-checkers are corrupted with their own agenda. When a society leaves the Bible as its foundation, they have no foundation upon which to base truth. And they will find themselves in the condition Isaiah prophesied about –
“Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, And equity cannot enter. So truth fails, And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Then the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him That there was no justice.” – Isa. 59:14,15
The Church is supposed to be the balance for a society against this condition happening. It is supposed to be ‘salt’ to preserve a society from corruption but, when the church has lost its saltiness, it is good for nothing but to be trampled under foot by men, as Jesus predicted. This is the condition we find ourselves in – as the church sides with the world against what Scripture declares as sin.
As government languishes under a false notion of anti-discrimination, claiming every sort of philosophy and perversion is to be accepted, the country is balanced on the precipice which leads to destruction from within. Every kind of wickedness is to be accepted and those who try to hold to a biblical or moral standard are labeled bigots or racists.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” – Declaration of Independence
Our founders recognized that our rights come from God and therefore only those actions He deems as worthy are to be served. It went without saying that lifestyles such as homosexuality, transgender-ism, lawlessness, abortion, divorce, etc., which are spoken against in Scripture are not ‘unalienable rights’ granted by God. When a society rejects God, it is rejecting the foundation upon which it is built and will not last.
The United States is the last biblical based super power in the world and the Antichrist forces are working tirelessly to bring it down. Globalism has gotten itself into the church now and many church leaders are calling for one world government to replace our republic. It is the last step before the Antichrist government takes power.
What shall we do about this deteriorating situation? The prophet Isaiah has the answer – God will answer –
“For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on His head; He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, And was clad with zeal as a cloak. According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay, Fury to His adversaries, Recompense to His enemies; The coastlands He will fully repay. So shall they fear The name of the LORD from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him. The Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” Says the LORD.” – Isa. 53:17-20
