Our country was founded on the biblical belief in the freedom God has given to mankind. But, what happens to a society when TRUTH is hijacked by those who are supposed to protect it?
“No one calls for justice,
Nor does any plead for truth.
They trust in empty words and speak lies;
They conceive evil and bring forth iniquity.” – Isa. 59:4
Nancy Pelosi revealed how the Democrats make an accusation which the news media picks up on then she uses the news media report as proof of the allegation! Even the FBI gets in on the show.
Now the Democrats want to remove State control over the elections by placing it in the hands of the central government. “Democrats in Congress have announced their top legislative priority, and it isn’t health care, immigration, or taxes. Instead, they want to centralize power over elections in Washington, D.C. H.R. 1 is number one on the legislative agenda because it is the number one priority of House Democrats, leftist groups, deep-pocketed dark money, and those who use election process rules to help win elections.” Democrats want to do away with the Republic we were founded upon and substitute socialism.
How is this a Christian concern you may ask. It very much is because our Republic was founded upon Biblical values but socialism is founded on atheism. It is written in the Psalms –
“Happy are the people who are in such a state;
Happy are the people whose God is the LORD! – Ps. 144:15
We are such a state as this. Even our currency proclaims “In God we trust”. The leftist who are behind these kinds of attacks must remove us from our trust in God as a country and marshaled against us are most of the Democrats, some Republicans, most of the news media, most of Hollywood, much of our education system, and even some in the church. But, remember only about 25% of the country resisted England to gain our independence. Let us be like Jonathan who said to his armor bearer –
“Then Jonathan said to the young man who bore his armor, “Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; it may be that the LORD will work for us. For nothing restrains the LORD from saving by many or by few.” – 1 Sam. 14:6
Don’t listen to the liars in the news media or in Congress. Do what God says to do – pray for your leaders and do good to those who spitefully use you. Trust in the Lord to answer your prayers and give us good government. We have God’s promise –
“For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest
On the land allotted to the righteous,
Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity.” – Ps. 125:3
