The Apostle Paul warned Christians about things to come at the Day of Christ (His 2nd. coming).

“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” – 2 Thes. 2:3,4

The Antichrist will oppose everything relating to God and our worship of Him. We are now near the coming of this Antichrist but, his spirit is here already. Groups driven by this spirit have been very vocal and successful in recent years opposing God and His worship, groups like the ACLU and Freedom From Religion Foundation of Wisconsin.

Strange however, is the fact that they seem to be primarily focused on limiting Christian activity. The Muslim activities seem to have a veil that hides them from scrutiny. This is true worldwide as well as in America. China is cracking down on Christians and any mention of God as is North Korea. And the Middle-east has had a long history of persecution of Christians. And now it has reached extinction levels – Iraqi Archbishop Warns ‘Extinction Is Coming’ for Christians in the Middle East. Meanwhile US taxpayer dollars are funding Islam school indoctrination program as revealed by Fox News.

The spirit of Antichrist is very active using any avenue to undermine Christian values and the worship of God. The so-called “progressive” movement among Democrats is nothing more than anti-God philosophy applied to people’s lives. Socialism and its offshoot Communism are  man’s attempt to produce a society without God. They replace charity with welfare and instead of individual freedom, which requires individual responsibility, they give government control. They hold out a carrot of ‘free things’ which lead people into bondage. But, the Bible tells us a different message.

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” – Gal. 5:1 NIV

Antichrist wants to sit in the temple as God and this is the goal of the spirit of Antichrist as well.

“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” – 1 Cor. 3:16

I urge you to resist the leftist messages and promises Democrat politicians are making to you. They are unknowingly spouting the message of the spirit of Antichrist. They are false prophets, often coming in ‘sheep’s clothing’ to lead you astray. I do not say that all Democrats are this way but, those running for president seem to be. You can trust no politician but you can trust the word of God. So, whatever a politician promises, hold it up to the word of God for examination. For example, if they promise more free handouts or more welfare, remember that he Bible says “If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.” (1 Thes. 3:10). And remember whatever the government gives, it has to take from someone else. This is called stealing in the Bible.

God will not bless a nation that steals from its people.
