Christianity is in a world wide battle for its survival. In China, North Korea, and Russia, all Communist lands, they are working to eradicate any semblance of true Christianity. Communist, Socialist and Muslim countries all allow Christians the right to worship but not the right to do what the Bible calls us to do; publicly speak for and against moral issues, evangelize, etc. Churches that won’t celebrate same-sex marriages, that won’t teach that such arrangements are part of God’s will, could lose their tax immunity. They could face the same civil fines as bakers and florists who won’t take part in the frenzy of dismantling human marriage. Such churches (and their schools) might soon be taxed, and fined, and regulated, as churches in Turkey are. Paul warned us that these times would come — and they are here!

“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,” – 1 Tim. 4:1

These doctrines are not based on our Founding Fathers or our Constitution but on false “doctrines of demons”. But, because they come cloaked in political language, many do not recognize them for what they really are. They are the chipping away of our foundation stones that will allow the same actions against Christians in this country that are happening in China (the outlawing of all churches but the ‘official recognized’ government church) or the relegating Christians to the status of dhimmitude (2nd class) in the Muslim countries.

The Bible teaches us to resist all such attacks –

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” – Eph. 6:12

All true Christians have been given the ability to resist and overcome these attacks by Jesus Himself –

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; …” – Mar. 16:17

But, we must recognize who they are and what they are espousing. They have been working underground, so to speak, for a long time but under President Obama’s regime they began to come into the open. The rise in witchcraft in this country is astounding. When President Trump was elected instead of Hillary Clinton the pot of discontent began to boil. Witches all over the world began casting spells and hexes on him and his followers.  This says nothing of the liberals who are working to undermine President Trump and those who elected him. They are found in Hollywood, the IRS, CIA, the DOJ and others in the Washington bureaucracy. Silicon Valley and the social media companies are full of them.

In the Old Testament, witches and false prophets worshiped false gods and sacrificed children to Baal, but today they have become more sophisticated – they do it under the banner of ‘women’s rights‘! The CEO of StemExpress admitted in court in September that her biotech company supplies beating fetal hearts and intact fetal heads to medical researchers. She said –

“She also admitted at the preliminary hearing of David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress that the baby’s head could be procured attached to the baby’s body or “could be torn away.”

Who but demons could convince anyone that such actions are in any way humane.

The use of drugs is a number one problem today which is the definition of sorcery. Manassah was a wicked king in Israel and he used sorcery –

“Also he caused his sons to pass through the fire (child sacrifice) in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom; he practiced soothsaying, used witchcraft and sorcery, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger.” – 2 Chron. 33:6

In the New Testament the word for sorcery is pharmakeia from which we get our word for pharmacy or drugs. Witchcraft and sorcery and abortion go hand in hand. And in the liberal halls of power, recreational drugs are in much use. Is it in any wonder they are fighting to get laws legalizing the use of Marijuana?

In ancient Persia, the angel Gabriel had to fight his way through an evil principality to bring Daniel the answer to his prayer. Gabriel needed the help of the angel Michael to break through and it was Daniel’s prayers that empowered them.

“Then he (an angel) said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince (an evil spirit) of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.” – Dan. 10:12,13

In America, I believe abortion has released an evil spirit of murder over our cities. An interesting fact is while the United States is 3rd in murders around the World, if you remove: 1. Chicago, 2. Detroit, 3. Washington DC, 4. St Louis, and 5. New Orleans, the US becomes 189th out of 193 countries on Earth. All 5 of these cities have STRICT gun control laws and are run by Democrats. I notice also that the Democrat Party claims to be the Party of abortion.

As Christians, we have been given the authority to bind and cast out demons and evil spirits. Through our prayer we can overcome “principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this age, and spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” wherever we find them, be it Hollywood, industry, social media, government, or even our churches. As the Apostle Paul admonishes us –

“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” – Eph. 6:13
