As Jesus predicted the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem His disciples asked Him –

“Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” – Matt, 24:3

Man has always wanted to know about the end of all things. It seems mankind is created with an inner knowledge that what has a beginning also has an end, that this life on earth is not the whole story. Indeed God seems to have built this question even into the creation. On the fourth day, as He created the stars and heavenly bodies, He stated –

“Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;” – Gen. 1:14

Seasons and days and years we understand but, what are the signs about? These foretell important events where God enters man’s history. There have been signs down through the ages. There were signs predicting the birth of Jesus and there will be signs predicting His return. Events can be for signs if they fulfill what God has said in His word, such as, the reformation of the nation of Israel in 1948. And they can be warnings of God’s judgment on wickedness such as the mass die-offs that began in 2010 are.

“Hear the word of the LORD, You children of Israel, For the LORD brings a charge against the inhabitants of the land:

“There is no truth or mercy Or knowledge of God in the land. By swearing and lying, Killing and stealing and committing adultery, They break all restraint, With bloodshed upon bloodshed. Therefore the land will mourn; And everyone who dwells there will waste away With the beasts of the field And the birds of the air; Even the fish of the sea will be taken away.” – Hosea 4:1-3

And these mass die-offs have not stopped either, only the news outlets have stopped airing them because it is ‘old news’. Dead birds are falling in Australia and dead fish in Algeria, both in 2019.

In 2014 and 2015 the heavenly signs began with four Blood Red Moons, happening on the feast days of Passover and Tabernacles. The BRMs (Blood Red Moon tetrad)   highlight the immanent coming of the Year of Jubilee and all that it means. They also reveal the importance of the number 8 and its heralding something new coming. This BRM Tetrad was the 8th since the time of Jesus’ first coming. And finally, they emphasize the pattern of Passover and Tabernacles (Sukkot) being the first and last feasts of the seven Lord’s Feasts, thus reminding us of the Lord’s first coming and His second coming.

Then in 2017, the sign given in Revelation 12 was fulfilled.

“Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. “ – Rev. 12:1,2

This heavenly event happened on September 23, 2017 for the first time in 7000 years. The Moon was under Virgo’s feet and she was ‘clothed’ with the Sun. There were the nine stars of Leo and three wandering stars (planets) above her head as a crown of 12 stars. In November of 2016 the planet Jupiter entered the constellation Virgo and went into retrograde. Because of its large orbit compared to earth’s, Jupiter appears to be moving back and forth called retrograde motion. It continues in this retrograde motion until September 23, 2017, a period of 42 weeks minus 1 day, which is a normal human birth cycle, when it leaves Virgo on its trip to the constellation Taurus. Also, for the first time in 7000 years all the planets were in a straight line beneath Virgo.

As Jupiter leaves Virgo, it will travel to the horns of Taurus. As Jupiter reaches the horns of Taurus, it will be joined by the planet Mars on August 13, 2024, which is the 9th of Av on the Hebrew calendar: a day of trouble for the Jewish nation, the day on which the two previous Temples were destroyed.

The Hebrew name for the constellation Taurus is Shur which means ‘coming to judge’. The Hebrew name for Mars is Ma-Adim which means ‘the red one’ or ‘the Son of Man’. Also in the constellation Taurus is a cluster of stars known as the Pleiades which means ‘the congregation’. The clear meaning of this is “The Son of Man comes to judge with His Congregation, or saints.” 

Now the interesting thing about this sign is that the time from Jupiter leaving Virgo, Sept. 23, 2017, to the time it goes into conjunction with Mars between the horns of Taurus, August 13, 2024, is exactly 7 years. A time period the prophet Daniel predicts the Antichrist will confirm a treaty with Israel, which he will break in 3½ years. This sign will be complete on August 13, 2024, a short 4 years from now.

These signs have not abated, from strange boomings to strange sounds in the air in various places on the earth. Then there is the strange circle in the sky accompanied by trumpets sounds over the state of Israel that happened in 2016 just after the sign of Virgo was fulfilled.

The signs are abounding, both earthly and heavenly. The Feast of Trumpets gives a warning call that the Day of Atonement is soon coming, a day when we will all have to stand before God and face His judgment. Will you take these signs seriously and prepare, or will you be like those who mourn when they see the sign of His coming in the heavens?

“Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” – Matt. 24:30
