The sixth seal unveiled a coming great earthquake, the likes of which the world has never seen. Not only is the earth shaken but also the heavens. Suddenly mankind finds itself facing the wrath of the Lamb of God, and we have passed from the age of grace into the age of judgment. People don’t like to think about this time. They see Jesus as one who turns the other cheek to mankind’s abuse and rejection, thinking there will always be time to make it right with God, or that God wouldn’t cast someone into the burning flames of hell, even though the words of the Bible clearly say He will.

“I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! “For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” – Rev. 6:12-17

One thing is correct however, God never brings forth His judgment without warning. We have certainly had warnings of earthquakes. Since the year 2000, they have been increasing steadily.  Some will scoff and refuse to listen but the facts show that there have been a dramatic increase in earthquakes since 2000. Many don’t like to make the connection with Biblical prophecies saying “Oh, there is just better reporting now.” But, the following graph shows the dramatic increase in major earthquakes since 2000.

Jesus forecast signs that would appear in abundance in the end days and among them were earthquakes –

“For nation (ethnos – racial tensions) will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.” – Matt. 24:7

Scriptures foretell the final use of earthquakes to warn of the soon return of Jesus –

“And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.“ – Revelation 8:5

Are these thunderings and voices the strange sounds and shakings that the earth has been experiencing?

I don’t believe the 6th seal has been opened yet but, God has certainly sent out warnings of its soon approach.

The Inuit tribes live in the far north of Canada and Greenland. The Inuit elders have sent warnings to NASA about the changes in their weather saying “the earth has tilted” and it has been verified. Such things are expected to be the result of a large planet, such as Planet X, coming near earth.

As Planet X comes near the earth, it is forecast to shift the earth on it’s axis, shake the heavens, cause storms and earthquakes on earth, and cause many shooting stars to occur. Is this the cause of the effects we are now seeing or is it some other cause?

The Book of Revelation is a warning of the coming wrath of God and a time of judgment that every person will face. Mankind has been given some 2000 years to make things right between them and God but that time has a limit, an ending, and the sixth seal begins the unveiling of that ending. The Seventh Seal will give the details of the coming judgment.

Remember, the Book of Revelation reveals Jesus as the Lamb of God but, also as the Lion of Judah. I pray you will choose to meet Him as the Lamb of God and not have to face Him as the Lion of Judah.
