We are in the midst of trying times as the Covid19 virus is upon us but, it is not the main assault against us – “Justice is far from us, nor does righteousness overtake us” as Isaiah the prophet wrote so many years ago. He accurately described our times; times when our truth is based on world standards and not on God’s standards. He said –

“Their feet run to evil, And they make haste to shed innocent blood; Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; Wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they have not known, And there is no justice in their ways; They have made themselves crooked paths; Whoever takes that way shall not know peace. …. Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, And equity cannot enter. So truth fails, And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Then the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him That there was no justice.” – Isa. 59:7-15

There is blood on our hands because of the abortion of the most innocent among us, over 60 million so far. And our governments love to have it so. Even the Church is guilty because it has not repented in sackcloth and ashes, begging God to cleanse us of this sin. Many in the Church are Democrats who have made abortion a strong party platform and yet they continue to vote Democrat thus giving their accent to the practice. Our country is plagued with the blood of the innocent and its thoughts are thoughts of iniquity. They have taken the rainbow, the symbol of God’s covenant not to judge the earth again by flood and made it into a symbol of abomination, the LGBT lifestyle. It has even enacted laws protecting this abomination.

“‘If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.” – Lev. 20:13

We have rejected God’s standards in favor of the world’s standards. The result is there is no peace and no justice left in the land. America, who prides itself for freedom, is losing its’ freedom, for Jesus said –

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” – John 8:32

But, without truth, there will be no freedom. And Jesus said “My word is truth!”. But we have rejected Him and His words! This Covid19 pandemic is showing us how quickly our freedom can be taken away and once lost it will be very hard to recover.

There are prophetic voices that have been warning of the danger we are facing but, now even a few secular voices are warning. One is Tucker Carlson of Fox News.

We have made technology society’s new Tower of Babel and want to use it to gain control  over our world, but God is allowing technology to gain control over us instead. And instead of the freedoms bought for us by our founding fathers as they gave us a Republic with limited government, we are choosing the totalitarianism of socialism and communism to control our thoughts and actions. We have chosen Big Government instead of Limited Government. We are laying the groundwork for the Antichrist to take control.

“He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” – Rev. 13:16, 17
