I wrote this message in March of 2018 and it bears repeating –

As I wrote in Preparation for the Battle Ahead, there is no victory in this end-time battle for the lukewarm. Churches that have surrendered to the world’s standards will not be able to stand for Christ in the battles ahead. Those that do not preach the word of God to sinners will not stand with Christ. They will instead be given a “spirit of strong delusion”, so they cannot receive the truth of God.

“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” – 2 Thes. 2:10-12

This is not my declaration – it is what God Himself is saying. I am saying that 2018 is going to usher in this truth more than in former years. We had better all strive to be more righteous than ever before. The Golden Rule had better become a guideline for our treatment of others. We had better begin honoring the true God of Creation like never before and I can tell you as a retired teacher of science and math that the doctrine of Evolution is a false doctrine. It is a deception designed by the devil to destroy faith in God.

In these last days God promised to send a ‘latter rain’ of the Holy Spirit and many in the Church are awaiting it but, they are forgetting an important truth. It will be like the ‘former rain’, only stronger! And this is what John the Baptist said about the former rain –

“John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” – Luke 3:16

Christians often forget ‘the fire’ part of the promise but God does not! Fire cleanses and purifies and God intends to have a bride for His Son that is spotless and pure. John goes on to declare –

“His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.” – Luke 3:17

Many in the Church have ‘chaff’ in their lives and their pastors are not preaching a message that calls them to repentance. Hill Song church concerts that hype emotions with lights and fireworks but never mention sin because that would be too negative will not prepare you for the days ahead. Jesus has a message for all such churches –

And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire … “ – Rev. 3:14-18

These churches look at the Church of Jesus Christ as another ‘big business’ and use CEO tactics to grow it – forsaking the truth if it gets in the way of their plans.

The time is late and God is loosing patience with those churches and they are about to have their ‘Lamp stand’ removed –

“Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lamp-stand from its place—unless you repent.” – Rev. 2:5

It is now the year 2020 and it is a year of change. Things we have taken for granted are no longer going to be as before. Everything is accelerating. We are rapidly moving toward the one world government over which the Antichrist will rule. The tiny nation of Israel has been established, Jerusalem has been acknowledged as their Capital, and they are about to build the “false” Temple in which the Antichrist will set up the Abomination that causes Desolation. The American Dollar is about to fall from its exalted position as the world’s currency and such concepts as “cryptocurrency” are being talked about. Groups like ID2020 are preparing to give everyone in the world an identification chip and the EarthNow company is planning to launch 500 satellites to blanket the earth. EarthNow founder Russel Hannigan says his company’s simple objective is to “connect people visually with the Earth in real time.” These satellites coupled with GPS will have the ability to track every person.

And into this atmosphere is entering a weak Church. A church that has largely forgotten it’s mandate from God to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom. A gospel which prepares one for heaven, not for this world. A gospel which begins with repentance as preparation to meet God. A gospel that was introduced by John the Baptist saying –

“And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” – Matt. 3:2

and later repeated by Jesus –

“From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” – Matt. 4:17

Many are preaching “God is love” and so He is, but we don’t come to Him without repentance. Others are preaching the “Grace of God” and I’m glad He is full of grace but, that grace will always lead us to repentance. People who have surrendered to the world and its principles should not be able to sit in a church where the truth of God’s Gospel is proclaimed for long before they repent. Paul wrote to the Corinthian Church –

“But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.” – 1 Cor. 5:11

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” – 1 Cor. 6:9, 10

Jesus is soon coming and He is coming for a Bride that is spotless and clean –

“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” – Rev. 19:7

Notice, the Bride has “made herself ready”. How does she do this? By repentance and loving the truth, which is of course the word of God.

“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” – John 8:31, 32

It is time to stop playing church and come home to Jesus with your whole heart and mind. That means to love the truth as Jesus tells it.
