“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,” 1 Tim. 4:1

In 2019 at the State of the Union address, President Trump said – “To defend the dignity of every person, I am asking the Congress to pass legislation to prohibit the late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in the mother’s womb. Let us work together to build a culture that cherishes innocent life. And let us reaffirm a fundamental truth – all children – born and unborn – are made in the holy image of God.”

The Republicans rose with a mighty force and roared their affirmation of the president’s remarks. But, the Democrats refused to stand in agreement that newborn children deserve the right to live. They were silent, sitting there for all the nation to see, many dressed in white and stone-faced in their seats. As Tod Starnes later observed, “There is something demonic happening within the ranks of the Democrats.” Who else besides the devil would so delight in the killing of the unborn? As Paul wrote to Timothy, they have “departed from the faith giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.”

LGBT pushes Transgenderism

Not only Christians but, America itself is under attack from Leftists, atheists, and Muslims. The LGBT lobby, led by multi-millionaire Tim Gill, is attacking states and Christian businesses on behalf of LGBT activists under the guise of equal rights. He states, “We’re going to punish the wicked” and by wicked he means every Bible believing Christian in America.

Muslims also, emboldened by political successes in Minnesota and Michigan are actively pushing Islamic candidates in several more federal and state offices. Plus they are gaining seats on various government and company boards where they can push their pro-Muslim agenda. But mostly these groups are targeting Christians and Christian organizations. Barna Research recently released a study which showed that half of American pastors worry they will offend someone if they preach on a controversial subject – or worse yet, be sued.

Recent polling data suggests that more than half of the nation’s Christians don’t even bother to vote. Conservative writer David Horowitz wrote –

“We are a Christian country. Every value and every principle we hold dear – the basis of our freedom – equality, including tolerance, pluralism, individual accountability and individual freedom – are all Christian ideas.” He said, “98% of the people who originally settled America were Protestant Christians. America could only be created and our freedoms only created by Protestant Christians. It could not be done by Catholics. It could not be done by atheists and certainly could not be done by Muslims.”

He went on to say, “It’s time for the sleeping Christians of the nation to wake up and face the reality of the situation – the leftist assault on Christianity is an assault on America itself. This is an existential battle for the life of this country. It is a a very serious moment in our country. Christians stand in the way of the Left – which wants to destroy this country.” His two-word call to arms for people of faith is “GET ACTIVE!”

In 2018, the Christians stayed home and didn’t vote and we gave the House of Representative over to those who follow “doctrines of demons”. President Trump may not be who you think is ideal but, he is for a Constitutional America and American ideals and he is for Christianity. As far as I am concerned, a vote for Democrats is a vote for the devil. There may be a few Democrats who love the Lord but, they do not control the Democrat Party and they tend to vote along the Party line, as we saw at the 2019 State of the Union Address. Not one Democrat would stand up for life of the most innocent among us. They removed God from their Party Platform and a majority of the bills they sponsor are against God and His principles.

As you might have guessed, I am not one of those pastors who is afraid of offending my listeners. I want to restore God in America before it is too late – and that means sharing the Word of the Lord – all of it. I will label those things the Bible calls sin, as sin.

Sodomy, homosexuality and lesbianism is an abomination to God and He calls it sin.

“For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;” – Rom. 1:26-28

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,” – 1 Cor. 6:9

The Church’s ministry is to preach the Gospel of the kingdom. This good news is that those who commit all such sins can be forgiven – if they repent and turn away from these sins. But, sadly, many churches have given in to the pressure of the Leftists and the LGBT lobby even ordaining homosexual pastors. Jesus will say to them as He said to the Church of Sardis – “you have a name that you are alive but, you are dead.” (Rev. 3:1) He warns them to watch and strengthen the things which remain but are ready to die and repent or He will blot out their names from the Book of Life.

I will speak the truth, as I see it and as the Bible shows it for it is only the truth that will set us free.

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” – John 8:32

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” – Gal. 5:1

Friends, we are in a war and it is high time we awaken and put on the armor of God.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. ” – Eph. 6:11, 12
