The ‘lawless one’ is being released among us and only those who truly follow Jesus will be able to stand. This ‘lawless one’ is releasing fear and hatred in our midst.

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” – 2 Thes. 2:9-12

Those who take pleasure in unrighteousness are receiving s strong spirit of delusion so they will follow the ‘lawless one’. And they are enemies of the truth. In this time, it is imperative that Christians stand on God’s truth and forsake every unrighteous act; lying, greed, sexual immorality, yes and even fear, for ‘God has not given us a spirit of fear but of love and a sound mind’ (2 Tim. 1:7). And we need to love as God loves for “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John 4:8). That means we forgive, as Christ forgave us, and we share the truth for it is only the truth that can set us free from the deceptions of the ‘lawless one’. We need this to enable us to stand as God allows the ‘lawless one’ to hit us with one shock after another.

Another riot is being released in the United States, this time in Kenosha, Wisconsin. A police shooting of a black man has again given the Marxist group, Black Lives Matter, the excuse to set fires and destroy businesses. And once again Democrat race baiters and police haters have jumped into the fray before the facts are in. Watch the following video –

While any shooting is regrettable, the path of wisdom should demand an investigation before accusations and condemnations are levied. But Democrat Joe Biden immediately called for a police investigation and Democrat Gov. Tony Evers immediately tweeted –

“While we do not have all of the details yet, what we do know for certain is that he is not the first black man or person to have been shot or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country.”

He lightly skipped over the “we do not have all of the details yet” and rushed to judgment blaming all law enforcement, showing that he is just another Democrat leftist yelling to ‘defund the police’.

Meanwhile, these leftists are using fear of the Covid19 virus to further their hatred of the truth by shutting down Church worship services.

But Walmart can remain open, and don’t forget protests and rioters! The powers behind these leftists are pushing feverishly to develop a vaccine that will skip all the normal precautions associated with vaccine development, while they discount and even block proven methods of treatment, such as Hydroxychoriquine or Ivermectin.

As Christians, we should obey God’s laws rather than man’s edicts. The Bible does not tell us to obey bad laws but it does say –

“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,  not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” – Heb. 10:24, 25

And we must pray with all prayer, as Paul encouraged Timothy –

“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.” – 1 Tim. 2:1, 2

Notice, the goal of our prayers is a quiet and peaceful life, not one filled with unlawful restrictions, riots, and violence. We are to pray for ‘godliness and reverence’, not for abortion, church closings, and lawlessness. We are to pray for those things to be changed or removed as well as those who commit them. We serve the King of the Universe and He doesn’t bow down to any foreign god and we are to confess Him before all. If we don’t, if we are ashamed of Him – He will be ashamed of us and will not confess our names before God. He has given His all for our freedom and woe be it to us if we surrender it to the ‘lawless one‘!
