Is Trump’s Peace the Abrahamic Covenant?

Israeli peace dealThe recent signing of a peace accord between Israel, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has sparked much comment, some positive and some negative. President Trump announces that it is just the beginning as five other Arab States also want to join in the peace deal.

Many Bible scholars see it as a beginning of the fulfillment of the Abrahamic Covenant –

“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” – Gen. 12:1-3

And God repeated it when Abraham was willing to obey God in the offering of his only son, Isaac –

“and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the LORD, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son—blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.” – Gen. 22:16-18

Abrahamic Family House in DubaiThere is presently a move to complete this Abrahamic Accord by the Pope as he has met with Muslim Imam Judge Mohamed Abdel-Salam, secretary-general of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity (HCHF)  to build the Abrahamic interfaith shrine. There is also talk of President Trump combining his peace plan with the Pope’s Abrahamic Accord as Vice President Mike Pence arrived at the Vatican in January 2020 for a closed door meeting with the Pope and his advisors.

Also, the newly constituted Jewish Sanhedrin plans to host the first conference for the Organization of 70 Nations. their stated goal is “To bring together all of the nations under the common belief in the sanctity of the Bible and the sanctity of all of mankind.” They have received responses from several nations since the conference from the most unexpected sources; a Pashtun political figure from Afghanistan, Nigeria, Cameroon, and others. One such response came from a respected academic Palestinian scholar who lives in Judea. The Palestinian will remain unnamed for security reasons but, it does show that not all Palestinians are of pro-Iranian type such as Hamas. The Sanhedrin issued a statement saying –

“The members of the organization agree to the sanctity of Jerusalem and the Temple’s, as well as the sanctity of God’s covenant established with all of mankind through Noah. Every nation and ethnic group that sees itself as part of humanity and therefore accepts responsibility to join in a universal covenant of brotherhood of peace is invited to take their place in this Organization of 70 Nations. Representatives from El Salvador, Mexico, Honduras, Bolivia, Trinidad Tobago, Cameroon and Costa Rica were in attendance.”

All this talk of the Abrahamic Covenant inevitably leads to renewed talk of building the Third Temple. The Jerusalem Temple Institute has already begun laying plans as the following video shows –

Several others groups are also working toward the rebuilding, both religious and political. Recent happening in India have also served to spark new interest. All this recent news about peace in the Mid East, the Abrahamic Covenant, and the rebuilding of the Third Temple have also sparked new interest in the old prophesies of Daniel. In particular, Daniel’s prophesy about the Antichrist in chapter 9.

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (7 years): and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease (This means the Temple is already built.), and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” – Dan. 9:27

Is the covenant that he confirms (Strong’s-to make strong, strengthen), the Abrahamic Covenant? So this interpretation would necessitate Trump’s Abrahamic Accord to be in place before the Antichrist appears on the scene. Also, the peace between Israel and its Arab neighbors could explain Ezekiel’s mention of Israel as a “nation at rest” just before the Gog-Magog war, described in Ezekiel 38.

“After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. …. And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,” – Ezek. 38:8-11

If this is the correct interpretation of these recent events, it signals us that we are very close to the end of the age. It is best to be prepared, just in case, don’t you think?

Tomorrow, September 26th, is the beginning of the Return event in Washington D.C. which is a call to national and personal repentance, which is always a good way to prepare.
