It’s Christmas time again and the bigger my family grows, the longer Christmas is spread out. It now goes from the 18th. to the 27th. as each family celebrates its own Christmas event. That is how it should be as Christmas is a family event but, it is also a time for the larger extended family to gives thanks to God, who is the author of all things, even bigger families.

On the 27th. we will meet at my house for the extended family celebration. There will be lots of visiting, laughing, and sharing of memories, always the blessed memories of those gone home to be with Jesus, the reason for Christmas. Then all the adults, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will gather for the reading of the Christmas story which I will be privileged to read. Then will come the giving of thanks and praise to God for what He has given us, His only Son, Jesus. It will be a blessed time!

Few realize that the first Christmas was a fulfillment of prophesy given long ago. As the first man and woman fell to sin in the Garden of Eden, God Himself pronounced the prophesy against Satan who was in the Serpent.

“And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.” – Gen. 3:15

The Devil would have many seeds that would follow his wicked ways, all against God, but the woman would have but One Seed – the Christ. Now this sets in motion that a virgin would conceive the Son of God because women do not have seed, only the man does. But, Isaiah prophesied –

“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” – Isa. 7:14

This serpent, the Devil, would bruise the Son’s heel – the Son would be killed on a cross, an instrument of shame. The devil thought he won, only to see victory snatched from his hand as the Son born of a virgin was raised from the dead to live forever more! This battle has continued through out time and it will culminate with a large battle in the heavenlies in which the Devil and his angels will be thrown out of heaven and down to the earth.

“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceived the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhibiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.” – Rev. 12:7-12

As we celebrate this Christmas, remember the prophesy it foretells. The heavenly battle is already being waged and we are beginning to see the fall out from it on the earth as Satan’s forces are trying to take out the last stronghold of freedom on the earth through deceit, voter fraud, and ballot stuffing. The devil has even infiltrated the church, lulling much of it into a sleep of blindness. The media is loudly proclaiming Satan’s victory, as if their proclamations could ever change the heavenly outcome. But King David wrote so long ago –

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.” – Psalm 2:1-3

But, the cords they speak of are stronger than the cords of gravity that hold the universe together and God laughs at them –

“He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.” – Psalm 2:4

I feel sorry for Joe Biden, for he is just a pawn in Satan’s war against God. And he will surely go down to defeat in his presidential struggle for God has said –

“till you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.” – Dan. 4:25

and –

“For exaltation comes neither from the east Nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge:
He puts down one, And exalts another.” – Psalm 75:6, 7

I don’t believe God is done with President Trump yet for all the prophets are speaking the same thing, “He will have a second term”. But, now it is Christmas time. A time to remember that God came to earth and got involved with the affairs of mankind and He will do it again! As the Son of God came once to the earth so, He is coming again. Only this time He is not coming as a Baby but, He is coming as the rightful King and
Ruler of this earth.

So, as you celebrate Christmas, remember He is coming back soon and He has a sword with which He will rule the earth and strike down all His enemies. He is coming as Messiah!
