As the Biden Administration begins it’s rule, deception is rampant, even in it’s first few days, their intent is very clear. They intend to enact Socialist-Communist type rules and laws on us, all while the news media tells us, it is for our good. One of the first bills out of the House of Representatives is HB5717 which will greatly erode the 2nd. Amendment of the Constitution. Like all repressive governments, they want control over the people and how better to do that than with taxation.

But, if you think the Biden Administration is just after your guns, think again! They are after Biblical based Christianity. The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), America’s largest and most powerful LGBT lobby organization and close supporter of Biden, is pushing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to target Christian educational institutions, demanding that the Biden Administration strip colleges that adhere to rules and positions opposing homosexuality of their accreditation.

Al Mohler, a theologian and president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, sounded the alarm on the HRC’s push in an essay titled “A Direct Threat to Christian Education.” The laundry list demanded by the HRC, he notes, are fundamentally transformational. Their most dangerous proposal is aimed at essentially destroying Christian institutions overnight. As Mohler put it:

The Blueprint states, “Language regarding accreditation of religious institutions of higher education in the Higher Education Opportunity Act could be interpreted to require accrediting bodies to accredit religious institutions that discriminate or do not meet science-based curricula standards. “

In other words, Christian schools would no longer be able to teach homosexuality is a sin as the Bible teaches!

Under President Trump the United States and Israel had a very comfortable relationship and many in Israel and the region wonder if the Biden Administration will continue that relationship or will it go the way of the radical views of the Democratic Squad in Congress. Views expressed by Palestinian Rep. Rashida Tlaib recently –

“I think it’s really important to understand Israel is a racist state and that they would deny Palestinians like my grandmother access to a vaccine, that they don’t believe that she’s an equal human being that deserves to live, deserves to be able to be protected by this global pandemic. And it’s really hard to watch as this apartheid state continues to deny their own neighbors, the people that breathe the same air that they breathe, that live in the same communities … a free life, free from these oppressive policies, these racist policies that deny them access to public health, deny them access to freedom of travel, deny them access to academic opportunities.”

Israelis are concerned that the Biden administration may align much closer with the inflammatory views of Tlaib, as well as the policies of Obama, who sought to create “daylight” between Washington and Jerusalem, empower Iran, elevate the standing of the Palestinian Authority and isolate Israel in diplomatic forums. They rightfully worry that the incoming Biden administration will seek to reset the relationship and attempt to undo the progress that has been made and diplomatic achievements Israel recorded, simply because they arose from the wrong administration. U.S. President Joe Biden has already stated that he plans to negotiate a nuclear deal with Iran in lieu of the 2015 accord from which outgoing President Donald Trump withdrew in 2018. And the same people responsible for that 2015 accord are being given key positions in the Biden-Harris Foreign Affairs committees.

I have spent the first part of this article listing a few of the consequences of failing to vote for the right person in this last election and now we must learn to live with the outcomes. But they are not final outcomes, nor are they irreversible. The Psalms give us good comfort –

“Oh, sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD, all the earth. Sing to the LORD, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples. …. For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth.” – Psalm 96

We must look to the Lord and sing a new song. Let our song be one of praise to the Lord and not of any government or political party, which are just ruled by men. Let us declare once again that there is salvation only in Him! Stop looking to government for our help and look to Him. Our standing in the nations is not because of our righteousness, or our genius, or our abilities – it is only because of God Almighty and our faith in Him. Be filled with His Holy Spirit so that we may declare His wonders to all the people. After all, that is the way the Church began: being filed with the Holy Spirit and working wonders in His name.

Our work must be one of preparation – preparation for His coming! He is coming to judge the earth in righteousness and truth. So, we must prepare in righteousness and truth. In righteousness by living His word and keeping His commandments. We are to come out from among them and be separate from the world. When the government rules against the Holy Scriptures, we are not to obey those rulings because that will not enhance righteousness.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,” – 2 Tim. 3:16

And we are to love the truth. Remember that Jesus is the truth and whoever speaks the truth is speaking of Him. The great deception in these last days will be to pervert the truth. In this, the news media has been used greatly. Remember in the Bible, even prophets were deceived into speaking lies in the name of the Lord. Paul warned the Thessalonians –

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” – 2 Thes. 2:9-12

Do you remember how many false claims went around this last election? Claims of military takeovers and arrests, claims of Trump declaring martial law, claims of Q sending out mysterious messages, or that they arrested Nancy Pelosi escaping across the southern border. Well, remember what Jesus said about His coming.

“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” – Matt. 24:23-27

Now, if the spirit of Antichrist will try this with the Lord’s coming, he will sure try it with a presidential election! We need to listen to the wisdom of James, “So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;” (James 1:19). And we need to remember that we are just pilgrims here and our citizenship is in heaven. We are children of Abraham by faith and by faith Abraham was looking for a heavenly inheritance –

“By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. . . . For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.” – Heb. 11:8-10

So, we need to be about the work of the Kingdom and not be taken up with the various conspiracy theories that are out there. Jesus said, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” (Matt. 9:37). and this last election has shown us that there are multitudes who need Jesus. Remember, we are disciples of Jesus and He gave to them power –

“He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.” – Matt. 10:1

In case you think this power was just for the original 12 disciples, Jesus’ last message in Matthew was –

“And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” – Matt. 28:18-20

Friends, that commission has not ended, no matter what happens in the world. So be of good cheer, God is still with us.
