In my last article, I wrote about the depths of child sex trafficking in our country. In this article, I want to visit the issue of abortion. When John the Baptist came to prepare the way for the Lord’s first coming, he came as a ‘voice crying in the wilderness’. Now we are looking at another coming of the Lord, His second, and we are the voice crying in the wilderness ‘Prepare the way of the Lord’! I wrote in that article –

“In order to prepare the way of the Lord, we need to make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Now God already knows what is going on behind closed doors, it is us that need to know and to correct it.”

Man was created with a need to worship something. Heathen make their own god to worship with idols and sacrifice but, we have been given the truth that Almighty God is the only true God –

“You have been chosen to know me, believe in me, and understand that I alone am God. There is no other God— there never has been, and there never will be.” – Isa. 43:10 (NLT)

And so, for any nation, the Church is it’s moral compass but, what happens when the Church itself becomes corrupted? You have the breakdown of society and it’s eventual destruction by God!

We are now close to this happening in the United States. The Church has stopped listening to God and His laws and has substituted the laws of the government for truth. I could list many ways in which the Church has done this but, I will begin with one – the sin of abortion! Much of the Church has been silent on this issue and indeed joined forces with it’s advocates, all for the sake of a larger membership (which really means more money!). Because a bunch of corrupt men and women pass laws such as

Roe vs. Wade, these churches give in and follow like goats to the slaughter! They appoint women as pastors, which the Bible says not to do, all to appease society, a society that is bankrupt of moral truth. These churches look to society for their moral leadership instead of to the Lord and the word of God! They appoint homosexuals as Bishops and allow LGBT advocates to preach to their congregations. For the sake of unity, they offer baptisms to Muslims and honor Muslim beliefs in their churches, churches that are to be Houses of God, dedicated to Him alone! These churches have invited the devil into their sphere of influence, why should we be surprised at the outcome?

The true pastors of God will teach the entire word of God and that includes what it says about abortion. The modern thinker prefers to call it ‘a woman’s choice’ but God calls it ‘shedding innocent blood’. And He condemned an entire nation for doing it! The king of Judah brought this judgment –

“Moreover Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another, besides his sin by which he made Judah sin, in doing evil in the sight of the LORD.” – 2 Kings 21:16

He sacrificed babies to the god Moloch all for the sake of supposed blessings but the only blessings he got was judgment from God, for him and for his nation!

“‘So I will forsake the remnant of My inheritance and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become victims of plunder to all their enemies, ‘because they have done evil in My sight, and have provoked Me to anger since the day their fathers came out of Egypt, even to this day.’” – 2 Kings 21:14, 15

Now, we have filled much more than a city with blood by aborting some 73 million babies. Our new President, who claims to be a Catholic, puts his hand on the Bible and promises to abide by it’s word with one hand and with the other, he signs executive orders that condemns millions to death by abortion! And his church does not condemn him or take away his church membership so, they are complicit in it! 

The Church is asking God for a revival, for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit but, God is calling for repentance. Repentance for failing to teach God’s standards on fidelity in marriage, on adultery and on fornication. Most of the young people don’t even know what fornication is so I’ll spell it out for them – it is having sex outside of marriage! There is very little fear of God in the minds of Americans but God is about to move with a shacking that will put the fear of God back in their minds!

“For thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts.” – Haggai 2:6, 7

Now the writer of Hebrews refers to this verse –

“Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.” – Heb. 12:27, 28

Now this shaking is about to begin. It will shake everything that is not founded upon God and His principles and that includes churches that do not follow the word of God! Abortion is going to come down and those that promote it are going to come down. There will be no more marching in the streets demanding abortion because God is going to judge them for it!

As this shaking begins, and it has already begun, we are called to go forth with the message of preparing the way of the Lord. Repent and make straight the pathway of the Lord. God hasn’t changed, what He said in the Bible, He is still saying today! What He detests in the Bible, He still detests today! What He judged in the Bible, He will still judge today! Repent and stop shedding innocent blood!

The call of the ‘voice crying in the desert’ is – draw near to God and He will draw near to you!
