Back in August of 2021 I posted a series of articles titled Things About to Happen. I have been re-reading them and thought they deserve another posting with some updates, so here I will begin with part 1.

August 2021

People all over the world are wondering “What on earth is happening?”. Many countries are enforcing mask mandates, and some are giving vaccine mandates for employees, medical workers, or military.

Some are being hit with fires, flooding, and earthquakes of Biblical proportions. In the United States our Constitutional rights are being trampled on by non-elected government appointees. The government is threatening our 1st Amendment rights to assemble and to speak out and our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms. 2020 was a rough year but, 2021 is shaping up to be a fascist year as elected leaders and Party’s show their totalitarian tendencies.

Jesus predicted these things in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13. He said to expect first “wars and rumors of wars”. Next, He said famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. Then He said lawlessness would abound. He said these would be the beginning of sorrows (birth pangs) . Lastly, He said, “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.”

So where are we on this list? Let’s begin with wars and rumors of wars. Now there have always been wars. The world has only had about 13 years in which world-wide peace existed without a war somewhere. But, I believe Jesus was talking about the end times and He was talking about Israel and the nations around it. Since Israel returned to the Land it has had six major wars and a number of small actions with its neighbors, all started by them.

1. 1948 Arab-Israeli War (Independence)
2. 1956 Suez Crisis War
3. 1967 Six Day War
4. 1973 Yom Kippur War
5. 1982 Lebanon War
6.  2014 Gaza War

Scripture prophesies at least one more major war to happen, the War of Gog and Magog. It is found in Ezekiel 38 and 39. Gog is described as the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubul. Also Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya, Gomer and the house of Togarmah answer Gog’s call to attack Israel. In my article Gog Rising-part 2, I present my belief that Gog is Russia and I have no reason to change my mind as yet. I suggest you read it. Russia has close ties to present day Iran (Ezekiel’s Persia) and Iran is very busy surrounding Israel with it’s proxies – Hezbollah and Hamas as well as other Islamic terror groups in the Sinai Peninsula. Syria, to the Northeast of Israel is no friend and Iran is quickly infiltrating Syria with arms and forces. Lebanon, to the North of Israel, is about to become a failed state and Hezbollah is the strongest force in Lebanon. Eric Stakelbeck’s Watchman program recently highlighted this problem.

As Iran continues moving high tech arms into Syria to arm it’s forces there and Hezbollah, Israel continues it’s air and artillery strikes on Syria and Lebanon and sometimes on Russian controlled areas in Syria. This has increased tensions between Israel and Russia causing Russia to supply even more advanced anti-air defenses to Syria.

On top of all this, Iran is moving even closer to attaining a nuclear bomb, which Israel has declared it will never allow! Israel’s Defense Minister Benny Gantz recently warned UN Security Counsel that Iran can be within 10 weeks of getting the bomb! A small army of Israelis recently met with Biden at the White House and gave him a message – The Countdown to an Israeli War With Iran Has Begun if Biden renews the Iran Nuclear deal that Obama brokered!

As the Palestinians, Hezbollah, and Iran ratchet up the tensions with fire bombs, rocket attacks, and drone attacks, the Ezekiel War is drawing closer and it is one of the “birth pangs” Jesus predicted would happen.

Updates:

The Mask Mandates have failed. Facebook is now declaring that the CDC fed it false information about the vaccines and Italian Doctors have now presented proof that the mRNA vaccines are filled with ‘Foreign Metal-Like Objects’ in 94 Percent of Sample Group of Symptomatic People Who Took mRNA Vaccines’. These ‘graphene-family super-structures’ form nano sized computers in the blood stream and are responsible for many side effects from the vaccine. 

Our present government continues threatening our 1st Amendment rights to assemble and to speak out and our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms and it is turning various government agencies into a ‘standing army’ which is armed to the teeth, so to speak. What are they afraid of, one might ask, unless it is the people rising up to take back the power from their bureaucratic oligarchy! 

The Fire, Weather & Avalanche Center in an article titled CURRENT WILDFIRES BURNING IN THE U.S. lists 17 states in which current wildfires are raging out of control. And earthquakes have continued unabated around the world, the USGS reports there were 52,008 earthquakes in the past 365 days, that’s in 2021! 

The pressures in the Middle East have continued with Israel continuing to strike Iran’s attempts to move arms into Lebanon and Syria. Meanwhile Iran continues building toward achieving a nuclear bomb, even attempting to buy support from Sweden. Iran continues using its proxies, the Houthis of Yemen, the Hamas of Gaza, and the Islamic Revolution in Iraq to attack Israel and U.S. forces in Iraq. Even though Iranian backed militias are responsible for killing several American soldiers in Iraq, the Biden Administration continues trying to work a deal with Iran in its nuclear program (that means giving Iran billions of dollars!). While Iran ‘spits in our face’ not even allowing us to be in the room where the negotiations are going on! 

What is going on in the Middle East is just a picture of what is happening in the United States.  The Biden Administration continues destroying our energy sector and now our food supply is being affected as well. They continue giving money away to buy votes even though it is driving us deeper into recession. Our only hope is that the LORD will intervene in this next election with some ‘common sense’! 

In our fellowship, we sing a song that proclaims, “When the power of darkness comes in like a flood, the battle belongs to the Lord, He’s raised up a standard, the power of His blood, the battle belongs to the Lord.” That is what we need, and the Church is the only one who can sing this song! The United States needs to return to its foundations in the Lord and the Church needs to lead this returning. By ‘Church’, I’m referring to the true church, those that are ‘wheat’ and not the ‘tares’ that are currently dwelling in the church next to the wheat!
