The year 2014 was a pivotable year, a year of new beginnings and I think God began to show us this in heavenly signs. With that in mind, I want to repost an article I wrote in 2016 –

(reposted) I wrote this article in 2016 but I felt it was time to repost it. Many events have happened since then such as the fulfillment of the Revelation 12 sign of Virgo, the U.S. recognition of Jerusalem as the eternal Capital of Israel, Israel’s recognition of President Trump as the 2nd. Cyrus, to name a few. Also, as the Church has further embraced the morals of the world it has become dull of hearing.

As turmoil and confusion sweeps through the nations of the world, it would be wise to consider that God Almighty has a plan for the nations and the peoples. It was in place from the Creation and it is working even now. No nation or people group is left out. God has not hidden His plan; it is written in the heavens and proclaimed by His prophets down through the centuries. In our time, it is beginning to be fulfilled. We would be wise to consider and accept it.

And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.” – Isaiah 11:12

For 1000’s of years mankind has been laboring under the delusion that they can control their destiny without God’s oversight. The junk heap of history gives testimony to their folly. God has a plan for His creation and He has a destiny for the nations He called into being. The Bible declares He even sets their boundaries –

“When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, When He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples According to the number of the children of Israel.” – Deuteronomy 32:8

“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings” – Acts 17:26

God has used the tiny nation of Israel as a warning to the nations that His clock is nearing Midnight – their return to Land of Israel is like a flag waving to alert the nations – there is not much time left!

God even went so far as to provide a calendar for us to rehearse and prepare for the fulfillment of His plan. It consists of 12 thirty-day months and every 13 years a 13th month is added. But this calendar is just the framework for seven yearly appointed times when God makes a special effort to meet with His people, those who have covenanted with Him. These appointed times are called The Feasts of the Lord. Four of them occur in the Spring of the year: Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Weeks (Pentecost). The last three occur in the Fall, in fact in the seventh month of the year; Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles. These seven feasts remind God’s people of the most important aspects of our covenant with Him –

1. Passover – we have failed to meet God’s standards and need a Redeemer to help us, One who is without sin who is willing to pay the price for our sin which is death.
2. Unleavened bread – to walk in this covenant relationship we need to embrace God’s holiness and purge worldly sin from our lives.
3. First Fruits – we must put God first in all that we do as our Redeemer did.
4. Pentecost – we are to bear fruit for the Lord but we need a heavenly endowment of power to do it so, God will send a Comforter to be with us forever.
5. Trumpets – we are watchmen for the lord and are always to be on alert against the enemy. God also warns us of His soon appearing to make sure we are ready.
6. Day of Atonement – we need to remember there is a day of judgment coming and we are responsible to prepare our lives. Only we can do it through repentance and belief.
7. Tabernacles – to remind us that God is faithful and He is coming to dwell with His people. He will rule on the earth for a thousand years to show all what God’s Rest looks and feels like.

These feasts are not only times of remembrance and preparation but they also act as a prophetic clock telling the time of God’s moving to fulfill His plan. When Jesus came to earth the first time, His ministry fulfilled the first four Feasts exactly on the appointed time of each feast.

1. He was ‘cut off’ on the cross at the exact time the Passover Lamb was being offered in the Temple.
2. He had no sin and was the ‘unleavened bread’ for three days in the tomb.
3. On the third day, He arose as the ‘first fruit’ offering to God.
4. 50 days later, He sent the Holy Spirit on Pentecost as He promised.

Now, if He fulfilled the first four Feasts exactly with His first coming, it is probable that He will fulfill the last three Feasts with His second coming. This is even more likely as we have been warned by the rare Biblical Blood Red Moon Tetrad occurring on the Feasts of Passover and Tabernacles in the years, 2014 and 2015 ( only the eighth one since Jesus was hanging on the Cross 2000 year ago). This is further accentuated by the fact that this year introduced the Jubilee year just as the year Jesus began His earthly ministry so long ago. (In the Bible, the number 8 is the number associated with new beginnings.)

The heavens continued showing us signs of His soon return as the Revelation 12 sign of the woman giving birth was fulfilled in the constellation Virgo in 2016 and 2017 and all the planets of the solar system were lined up in a straight line below her for the first time in 6000 years. In 2017 the nation of Israel celebrated the 70th anniversary of its rebirth and President Trump proclaimed Jerusalem its eternal Capital and moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. The Sanhedrin Priests in Israel proclaimed him the 2nd Cyrus and minted a coin in his honor. These and other political and religious signs point to the soon return of Jesus. God continues with His heavenly signs warning mankind of the nearness of the end. The Constellation Virgo fulfills Revelation 12:1,2 for the first time in 6000 years –

“Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.” – Rev. 12:1,2

This sign was seen in the heavens in September, 2017 as the Sun was under the head of Virgo and the Moon was under her feet. In November of 2016 the planet Jupiter entered the constellation Virgo and went into retrograde. Because of its large orbit compared to earth’s, Jupiter appears to be moving back and forth called retrograde motion. It continues in this retrograde motion until September 23, 2017, a period of 42 weeks minus 1 day, which is a normal human birth cycle, when it leaves Virgo on its trip to the constellation Taurus. Just above Virgo is the constellation Leo which has 9 stars. At this time there are also 3 planets just below Leo, Mercury, Mars, and Venus, thus making the 12 stars that form Virgo’s crown.

(Side note: It is interesting that November of 2016 also marked the election of Donald Trump to the American presidency. And Trump’s recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and the moving of the United States Embassy to Jerusalem occurred December 6, 2017. For this the Jewish Sanhedrin minted a silver coin featuring the faces of Cyrus and Trump honoring him as the second Cyrus.)

As Jupiter reaches the horns of Taurus, it will be joined by the planet Mars on August 13, 2024, which is the 9th of Av on the Hebrew calendar: a day of trouble for the Jewish nation, the day on which the two previous Temples were destroyed. The Hebrew name for the constellation Taurus is Shur which means ‘coming to judge’. The Hebrew name for Mars is Ma-Adim which means ‘the red one’ or ‘the Son of Man’. Also in the constellation Taurus is a cluster of stars known as the Pleiades which means ‘the congregation’. The clear meaning of this is “The Son of Man comes to judge with His Congregation, or saints.”

Now the interesting thing about this sign is that the time from Jupiter leaving Virgo, Sept. 23, 2017, to the time it goes into conjunction with Mars between the horns of Taurus, August 13, 2024, is exactly 7 years. A time period the prophet Daniel predicts the Antichrist will confirm a treaty with Israel, which he will break in 3½ years.

“Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.” – Dan. 9:27

The ‘one week’ Daniel speaks about is of course 7 years. Now, I do not know if this ‘one week’ begins on September 23, 2017 of the Virgo sign or not. Perhaps this sign is just warning us that it is about to begin. But, the fact that this Virgo sign has not occurred before does make one wonder. Also to highlight this sign all the planets of our solar system were in perfect alignment forming a straight line below Virgo on the date Jupiter emerged from Virgo to begin its trip to Taurus.

Since the Antichrist places the Abomination that Desecrates in the Temple in 3½ years, we should expect to see a new Temple in Jerusalem soon. Could this abomination that desecrates be placed on August 2024, the 9th of Av, thus completing this disastrous day?

There is yet another sign which I want to draw your attention too and that is eclipses, which Biblical scholars believe spell trouble for the world. In my last article, Signs Point the Way, I mentioned the eclipses that were included in the Blood Red Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015. The Blood Red Moon tetrad of 2014-2015 contained two solar eclipses, one on March 20, 2015 and another on September 13 2015. And we did indeed see world-wide trouble, both on the political front and on the economic front as well. European banks were struggling and the Middle East was once again becoming a hot bed of contention. Headlines were blaring such titles as Global Economic Recession 2015: Global Events Pointing to Crisis Ahead. But, the average American person paid little attention to these events. After all, few even attend Church on a regular basis, let alone, pay attention to signs in the heavens! But, God was not done sending His warning with eclipses. August 21, 2017 He sent what is now known as the Great American Solar Eclipse, it was the first total solar eclipse that was visible in the U.S.A. and nowhere else. It was also the only total eclipse seen only in the USA since it’s founding in 1776.

What is even more interesting about this eclipse is that it begins over Salem Oregon, in the Northwest,  and travels through six more Salem’s on it’s trajectory across the United States. They are: Salem, Oregon; Salem, Idaho; Salem, WY; Salem, NE; Salem, MO; Salem, KY; and Salem, SC. Not only are there seven cities named Salem in the path of the Great American Eclipse; but when it begins in Salem, Oregon, the sun sets in Jerusalem at the exact same time. Do you remember the Biblical story of Abraham paying tithes to Melchizedek, the king of Salem? Salem is short for Jerusalem and Melchizedek is called King of Salem. Jesus is called a priest after the order of Melchizedek. Does this eclipse indicate that the “King of Jerusalem” is soon to come? While this eclipse traveled from the Northwest to the Southeast, in just 7 years another eclipse will cross the US from Northeast to Southwest which is very unusual. Some have wondered about the crossing point being right over the famous Madrid fault line in the Mississippi Valley.

Sort of an x marks the spot. But, perhaps it’s not an “x’. ‘The last letter in the Hebrew alphabet is “tav” and it means “truth” and has the meaning in Hebrew that was given to its symbol as: “mark, sign, covenant.” The original ancient letter looks like this:’ (comment taken from Ready and Watching blog). I also find it interesting that this sign happened in August of 2017, since so many other signs also happened right around that time: the completion of the sign of the heavenly woman, Virgo (Sep. 23, 2017), The Great American Eclipse (August 21, 2017), and President Trump recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital and moves the American Embassy to Jerusalem (Dec. 6, 2017). Israel also recognized this Presidential Proclamation as a signal to rebuild the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount.

I notice that most of these signs are completed in 2024. And their completion also refers to the coming of the Lord. So, I expect something major to happen on the world scene in 2024.
