It is strange how actions from history continue to play themselves out in current times. But I suppose that is to be expected when men are rebellious, and their hearts are wicked. As Isaiah writes, God’s hand is not short! He is performing His promise to bring the Jews back to the land He promised them, but they continue to flout His words and resist Him. How you say? In one way, they continue spilling innocent blood as Israel has one of the highest abortion rates in the world.

“Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perversity.” – Isa. 59:1-3

Progressive leftist Jews are rioting against PM Netanyahu, and they are influencing hi-tech companies to pull their money out of Israeli banks and invest them U.S. Silicon Valley banks then claim Netanyahu’s plans are hurting Israeli economy. They are rioting in the streets and burning businesses. Amir Tsarfati calls them ‘demon possessed’ and wrote this –

 The leaders of the protest against the judicial reforms in Israel called for high tech companies to take their money out of Israel because of the “dangerous situation” the country will be in once the reform is implemented. Many listened and transferred their money to the Silicon Valley Bank. Today, that US-based bank collapsed! What Goes Around… Comes Around!

I don’t know how much money these Israeli progressive leftists lost but it was enough to warn them not to oppose God!

But God is not just concerned about Jews, He also cares about Gentiles. Very recently China brokered a deal between Saudi Arabia and Iran to renew their friendship agreement. Of course, China is trying to replace America in Middle East negotiations and Joe Biden is helping them with his lack of support for Israeli-Middle East peace talks. The day China brokered the deal, it began raining worms in China – a subtle warning wouldn’t you say?

These are just two reasons why you, or a country, should not oppose God. Yet our government does this on a daily basis. They tell lies, make false accusations, promote policies that God is opposed to – such as promoting same sex marriage, transgenderism, manipulate news companies to hide the truth from the citizens, falsify court documents and records, say they will do something and then purposely don’t do it!

But we can bring it down to a personal level as well. How often do we give our word to do something and then don’t do it? We are guilty of the same crimes before God as these governments. There is ample need for repentance all the way round. If we do not care for justice, or demand it of our elected leaders, then we will trust in lying words and receive evil. We will come to a point where we call evil good and good evil.

“No one calls for justice, nor does any plead for truth. They trust in empty words and speak lies; They conceive evil and bring forth iniquity.” – Isa. 59:4

I pray we will once again have enough of the fear of the Lord to listen to His word and do it! If we do not – then all is lost.
