Time for Truth (reposted)

I originally posted this article in February, 2015, a month before the 2015 Blood Red Moons occurred. Not much has changed on the political landscape, except the Democrat spin machine has grown even more divisive and bitter. I felt it was time to repost the article.

Biden_ObamaWoe to us! Another political election is nearing! As if we do not hear enough lies and disinformation from the news media already, now it is amplified by all the political maneuvering of Democrats and Republicans as they try to tell the most believable lies to the people to get their votes – lies which history proves they have little intention of keeping! Mystery Babylon chapter 1

Harlot of Rev

Mystery Babylon, as John called her in Revelation 17:5, has appeared many times throughout history but her final portrait is revealed to John as a harlot, decked in the royal colors of the priesthood, with scarlet and purple robbing as described by Peter (1 Peter 2:9). But, she is false and riding upon the Beast which represents the spirit of Antichrist. While she talks religion, she ‘fornicates’ with the world. Her actions, both past and present, reveal her true nature to those with eyes to see. She is a persecutor of all who love the truth of God’s word and cannot be deceived by her. Continue reading

The Latter Rain in a Time of Deception

day of elijahI wrote in a previous article titled 2018 Days of Elijah that humanism is the deception of our generation. Humanism places man in the seat of God as the chief arbitrator of what is good and what is bad. “A typical deception of humanistic thinking is the belief that you can compartmentalize your life into separate boxes, such as political, financial, social, or religious. And that truth is somehow different for each box. That is partly why seemingly moral people can vote for politicians who represent philosophies they personally find abhorrent. The Democrat Party caters to those who disrespect the American flag and all it stands for except – the welfare benefits it gives. And they want immigration laws that allow more like-minded people into the country. Yet, I know many Democrats who Continue reading

Enter His Presence with Thanksgiving

In my last several articles, I stressed our absolute need for the presence of God, both in our personal lives and in our corporate life. It is the only way we can overcome the trials of life and it is the only way we can return to the national blessings we have enjoyed in the past.

We are constantly bombarded with the voices of zealots and politicians promising that they alone can return to us the blessings we think we deserve or desire. But, without God in the picture they are all just what Jeremiah described – broken cisterns that can hold no water.

Days of Noah

Noah's dayAs Jesus was giving His teaching on the end of the age, He gave a clear societal sign that would be a harbinger of the soon approach of these days. It was the sign of Noah –

“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. “For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, “and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” – Matthew 24:37-39

Maybe you remember, Noah was the man who lived during the days of the Biblical flood that destroyed the then-known world except for Noah and his family. Jesus’ warning involved eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage but, you may ask what is so bad about eating or drinking and isn’t marriage the way we continue the human race? To understand this phrase you have to read between the lines – so to speak. Continue reading

The Only Choice for President

Jesus gave very sound advice about living which many in our country seem to have forweb pictures 057gotten.

“For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” – Matthew 16:26

As Americans are caught up in the election circus it would do us all good to remember this advice, especially in a selecting a leader that will control much of our everyday lives.

The Republican front runner freely admits he is willing to stoop to any level to gain a buck – ‘playing the system’ he calls it. To the Seven Churches-Thyatira

harlot48“These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:

I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.

Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. Continue reading

To the Seven Churches-Pergamum

asclepius“And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.” – Revelation 2:12-17 Continue reading

The Church Under Siege

As we consider Mystery Babylon we must remember that we are drawing close to the end of the age. The Blood Red Moons of 2014 and 2015, the Shemitah (Sabbath) year of 2015, and the Jubilee year of 2016 all signal its nearness to those who are watching. As the end of the age approaches, we should expect wickedness to increase but also righteousness to increase. The message of Revelation 22:11 is going forth –

“He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.” Continue reading
