The Days of Noah and Lot

Jesus revealed the world’s condition just before His return to earth –

“And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.” – Luke 17:26,27

“Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. “Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.” – Luke 17:28-30

He said it would be as it was in Noah’s time and in Lot’s time. But what was so bad about them? In Noah’s day they were eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, all normal events in life. And in Lot’s day they were eating, buying and selling and building, again all normal events of life for a successful society. We have to look at other scriptures to find the answer to these questions.

In Noah’s time it is recorded in Genesis that –

“Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. … The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.” – Gen. 6:5, 11

And in Lot’s day it is recorded  –

“And the LORD said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, … And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.” – Gen. 18:20, 19:5

In other words, in the face of such wickedness the people didn’t care but continued living as if nothing was wrong. God’s laws were being broken all around them and they ignored it as if nothing was wrong. They denied God.

What is the condition of our world today?

Rhode Island Govenor signs pro abortion law

Govenor Gina Raimondo

The entire Democratic leadership march in the bandwagon of abortion on demand, even to the time of birth. Democrat Gov. Gina M. Raimondo signed into law an abortion bill that practically eliminates protections for unborn human life from abortion.

Nancy Pelosi – Hypocrite

Washington leaders flip-flop on issues depending on whose side they will empower and not how they will affect the people they are supposed to represent. Nancy Pelosi was quoted as saying – “We all have moral responsibility to ensure all children of God are treated with compassion and decency”. But recently Nancy Pelosi is showing her inconsistency by refusing to support the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection act, which would provide medical care to babies born-alive in abortion clinics.

Child sex trade is at an all-time high in the United States, much of it fueled by well known political leaders. And leaders of both political parties refuse to enact border controls that work while democrat socialists continue holding out candy sticks to entice more illegal immigrants to flood the border. The influx of drugs, criminals, and illegal immigrants on our southern border threatens to wreak our government while Democrat leaders are pushing to no longer call them illegals.

These are just a few examples of the many lawless acts taking place today. But, the main lawlessness is the breaking of God’s laws. Church leaders are promising those who sin God’s grace as a covering for that sin, even though they continue in the sin. The concept of holiness is a lost message to most of the Church. Paul wrote to the Corinthians –

“Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” – 2 Cor. 7:1

We will all stand before God one day and we will answer how we reacted to the wickedness and lawlessness all around us. I pray we will all be like Noah and Lot –

God “did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)” – 2 Pet. 2:5-8

Let us pray and speak against the rising wickedness and let us purge our own lives of any of its influence.

May God help us all survive these days of Noah and Lot.

The Last Days

Trump declares the Golan Israel’s

President Trump recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan and the West Bank this week. Even though the UN challenged this move there is little they can do to change it. A significant number of Arab states are going along with it and the US’s economic strength is so overwhelming as to cancel any moves on that front. Militarily, Russia, Syria, Iran and Turkey have had an end-run performed on them. The Golan was the main target for Russia’s focus because of its oil and gas reserves and they were planning on taking it, through the UN if it could, or militarily if need be. Now, all they are left with is a military option – forecasting Ezekiel 38 war of Gog and Magog? Continue reading

The Days of Noah (2)

days of noahJesus forecast many of the signs that will be appearing in the last days and not the least of them is the sign of Noah.

But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. – Matthew 24:37-39

This brief statement does not explain what mankind was doing that caused God to take such a drastic action but, it must have been very bad, because we know that God is just and merciful. Something was going on among men that held the danger of irreversible corruption. Indeed we have to look at Genesis to understand what was so bad.

Then the LORD  saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart So the LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. – Genesis 6:5-8

The Hebrew word translated wickedness is ra’ and means “bad, disagreeable, malignant”, in other words like a cancer! We know that the prescription today for malignant cancer is to cut it out! If it can caught early enough, it may be cured but it grows fast and soon reaches the point of no-recovery. Was that the problem that brought on the flood? I think so.

Jesus told many stories that reflect the same reasoning, such as the tree that wouldn’t bear fruit (Luke 13:7-9), There was but one answer – grace. Grace is unmerited favor but it is also a given ability to overcome. What we cannot do in our own strength, we can do by grace. That was what Noah received from God. The group Living Waters has produced a film on Noah that highlights the problems of Noah’s day. It is included below and I strongly suggest you watch it before continuing on with this post.

Now that that you seen this video, the question is – what will you do with it? Like all warnings, they are useless unless you heed them and actually do what they say.
But, there is more about the days of Noah that this video did not cover – the Nephilim.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. – Genesis 6:4
nephilim skeletonThe days of Noah were also characterized by demonic activity and genetic modification of mankind. Many giant skeletons are found today, some 8 to 12 feet in height. They existed before the flood but, they also existed afterward. The Hebrews encountered them when after the Exodus they entered the promised land. It is why God commanded them to destroy men. women, and children and even livestock of those peoples. They had become infected with alien genetics.
There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” – Numbers 13:33
Is this what the UFO sightings of today are all about? Those who claim to have been abducted often report sexual probing being done on them. Is this all just imagination or is something demonic going on? Or what of the reports of Satanic worshipers being molested by demonic personages? Anyone who had read of the genetic experiments done by Nazi doctors on captives must be aware of the demonic depravity that can grip mankind.
As we see these signs being re-lived in our society, it is time to wake up, repent, and seek the only ark of safety given to us today – Jesus Christ.

The Great Transformation Continues

Passover 2018Last April I wrote an article named The Great Transformation in which I talked about truth, and by truth I mean God’s truth – not what man today calls truth, which is often just based on humanistic reasoning. In this article I will cover many of the same topics but, expand on them. I want to do this because the devil and the spirit of Antichrist are masters at twisting truth. Remember, the definition of iniquity is twisting the truth.

My articles concentrate on truth because God’s truth is the only way to set anyone truly free. Not long ago we celebrated the feast of Passover, which all about freedom from slavery but, Jesus taught that he who sins is a slave to sin. What good is it to be freed from Egypt if the sins of Egypt are still in your heart? We have all struggled with this battle and have all fallen to the temptations of Egypt (the world). But, that doesn’t negate the power of the blood of the Lamb to do it’s work of deliverance when mixed with faith and obedience because God stands behind that Lamb! And He revealed the secret of overcoming the sin – Continue reading

The Return to the Days of Noah

endtimesignsMany end-time signs predicted in the Bible are happening now, from signs in the heavens, bird-fish-beasts mass die offs, political re-alignments, to blooming of the fig tree (Israel). In this article I want to highlight another sign that Jesus warned would also be a harbinger of the end times – the days of Noah.

“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” – Matt. 24:37-39

Hidden Truth from Enoch

Noah's dayThere are many mysteries written in both the Old and New Testaments and some of them are key to understanding the end times. For example, when teaching His Disciples about the end times, Jesus referred them to the ‘days of Noah’.

But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, “and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” – Matt. 24:37-39

But, we today have difficulty understanding the full context of this teaching because we do not have all the information about the days of Noah that His Disciples had. All most of Continue reading

Is Time Running Out?

Noah's dayTime is running out!

This is a frightening thought for many but, it very well may be true. As many seem to be living in the ‘days of Noah‘ as Jesus predicted and Paul warned Timothy about.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” – 1 Tim. 3:1-6

Paul warns, the last days will be ‘hard to take, they will be ‘harsh, fierce, savage’, that is what the word ‘perilous’ means. It means they will be hard to take for the righteous person but for the lost, they will welcome them! They think breaking away from God’s moral restraints gives them liberty! Remember Jesus said that the last days will be like the days of Lot – Continue reading
