When God sent His Son to earth, there were heavenly signs that were revealed. They appeared to all mankind but, only the wise men understood their meaning and responded –
“Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” – Matt. 2:1, 2
When Jesus came the first time, His birth was announced with ‘a heavenly star’ that the wise men from the east saw and understood. There have been many suppositions about what the star was but, one thing is clear – there was a heavenly sign that was unmistakable to those who were searching for it. After Jesus was resurrected and passed into heaven on the clouds, the angels said to the disciples‘ This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven’. It is clear that His second coming will be announced with heavenly signs as well. Continue reading
No one likes to be rushed. We all like to drift along thinking we can control the tide of time but, the truth is we are all captives of time. God set time in motion at the creation and the clock is running at His predetermined pace for us all.
“Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years” – Gen. 1:14
As we near a new year, it would be beneficial to consider what God has been saying to us these last few years.
“You will be punished by the LORD of hosts with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with storm and tempest and the flame of devouring fire.” – Isa. 29:6
“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;” – Luke 21:26
“By swearing and lying, killing and stealing and committing adultery, they break all restraint, with bloodshed upon bloodshed. Therefore the land will mourn; and everyone who dwells there will waste away with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air; Even the fish of the sea will be taken away.” – Hosea 4:2,3
I recently posted several articles on past prophecies and included one by Pastor David Wilkerson called the Vision, which he wrote in a book with the same name in 1973. In 1976, he wrote another book named Racing Towards Judgment in which he listed three areas of judgment coming soon on America. This book expanded on things he saw in his vision of 1973. The three areas listed have been foreseen and warned about by many others in recent years; Continue reading
Yellowstone and New Madrid Quake Zones
God has used earthquakes in the past to speak to man and shake him out of his waywardness as well as purifying his walk and trust in the Almighty. And He will use them in the future as well. In the United States there are two mega earthquakes that are thought to be candidates for eminent shaking, the Yellowstone caldera and the New Madrid fault. Plus there are numerous earthquake faults in California as well. The Yellowstone earthquake would wipe out most of the western United States and the New Madrid fault could divide the United States in two. Earthquakes are one of the ways God gets the attention of a wayward world. Continue reading
Time is running out!
This is a frightening thought for many but, it very well may be true. As many seem to be living in the ‘days of Noah‘ as Jesus predicted and Paul warned Timothy about.
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” – 1 Tim. 3:1-6
Paul warns, the last days will be ‘hard to take‘, they will be ‘harsh, fierce, savage’, that is what the word ‘perilous’ means. It means they will be hard to take for the righteous person but for the lost, they will welcome them! They think breaking away from God’s moral restraints gives them liberty! Remember Jesus said that the last days will be like the days of Lot – Continue reading
Major Earthquakes (7.0+) around the Ring of Fire since 2000
Jesus forecast signs that would appear in abundance in the end days and among them were earthquakes –
“For nation (ethnos – racial tensions) will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.” – Matt. 24:7
Scriptures foretell the final use of earthquakes to warn of the soon return of Jesus –
“And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.“ – Revelation 8:5 Continue reading
