As we near a new year, it would be beneficial to consider what God has been saying to us these last few years.
“You will be punished by the LORD of hosts with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with storm and tempest and the flame of devouring fire.” – Isa. 29:6
“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;” – Luke 21:26
“By swearing and lying, killing and stealing and committing adultery, they break all restraint, with bloodshed upon bloodshed. Therefore the land will mourn; and everyone who dwells there will waste away with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air; Even the fish of the sea will be taken away.” – Hosea 4:2,3
We watched the eclipse yesterday. In our location only about 75% of the Sun was eclipsed but, it was interesting to watch. But, what is more interesting is thinking about what it may mean? This eclipse was called ‘the great American eclipse’ because it is the first total solar eclipse that could only be seen in the United States, and no other country. It was also the only total eclipse seen only in the USA since it’s founding in 1776.
While this eclipse traveled from the Northwest to the Southeast, in just 7 years another eclipse will cross the US from Northeast to Southwest which is very unusual. Some have wondered about the crossing point being right over the famous Madrid fault line in the Mississippi Valley. Continue reading
As we prepare to remember Passover, I am reminded that it also contained two other equally important feasts; Unleavened Bread and First Fruits. In fact Passover began a countdown of sorts to the first of God’s supernatural harvests. The Feast of Unleavened Bread began the next day after Passover and the Feast of First Fruits began on the next Sunday, which was usually 3-7 days later depending on the year. First Fruits marked the first of the annual harvests and a sheaf of barley was waved before the LORD in thanksgiving for the coming harvest. Prophetically, Jesus was raised from the dead on this exact feast day and represents the first fruit of the harvest of souls to come. Fifty days later the second of the annual harvest days occurred – Pentecost. This harvest marked the bringing in of the wheat harvest. Prophetically it represents the first outpouring of the Holy Spirit, spoken of by the prophet Joel as the ‘former rain’. Continue reading

Root Source Ltd. reports “It will happen both on the first day of spring and on the first day of the Jewish religious calendar, the beginning of the month of Nisan. Such an astronomical event only takes place once every 100,000 years, experts said.
As March 2015 unfolds we need to review important Biblical events that will begin this month. First the calendar God gave Moses will begin with it’s first month – Nisan. On our calendar this will be March 20, 2015.
“And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.” – Exodus 12:1,2
Fourteen days later, the Passover occurred in which the Hebrews were set free from the bondage of Pharaoh. This month is an epic month of beginnings: 1) beginning of God’s calendar of prophetic events in which He will make known His eternal plans not only for the Continue reading
