As we have just finished celebrating Christmas I wonder how many realize what it was that we were celebrating. To some it was just a holiday from work. to some it was a chance to make money, to some it was a time to get and give gifts, and to some it was an excuse to party and drink. To some it was a time of fellowship with family and renewing old ties. To a few it was a recognition of God’s gift of salvation to mankind. But, I wonder how many saw the prophetic promise of Christmas?
God revealed it to His prophet Isaiah –
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end,” – Isa. 9:6
We are inundated with Halloween in the stores, in schools, and in the news media. It is the 2nd largest commercial holiday. And, it is a sign of the Christian Church’s apostasy. Since Halloween is a Druid celebration, it is not directly mentioned in the Bible, but its concepts are certainly mentioned and warned against. Bibleinfo.com has this say about the holiday –
“The origin of Halloween as we know it, began over 1900 years ago in England, Ireland, and Northern France. It was a Celtic celebration of the new year, called Samhain which occurred on November 1. The Celtic druids revered it as the biggest holiday of the year and emphasized that day as the time when the souls of the dead supposedly could mingle with the living. Bonfires were a large aspect of this holiday as well. Continue reading
Isaiah prophesied to Jerusalem –
The Lord says: “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught (Hebrew; Septuagint They worship me in vain; / their teachings are merely human rules). – Isa. 29:13 NIV
I fear much of Christendom would fall into the same category. Their faith in Jesus is more like an insurance policy than a lifestyle. It is about making the here and now more comfortable instead of looking to the future coming of Jesus to get His bride. Paul wrote to Timothy his final wishes – Continue reading
Psalm 2 reveals a truth that liberals who are being controlled by the spirit of Antichrist should know about – GOD IS IN CONTROL!
“Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us. He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure: Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.” … Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.” – Psalm 2
Man is just now beginning to understand DNA and the mysteries of its determinations in our lives – but God knew about it from the beginning because He created it. He knows the end from the beginning and He alone has determined the seasons of our destination. He locked it all in the seals of Revelation which no one could open except the Son. The future is fixed, revealed in the heavens and by the Word of God. Continue reading
Last April I wrote an article named The Great Transformation in which I talked about truth, and by truth I mean God’s truth – not what man today calls truth, which is often just based on humanistic reasoning. In this article I will cover many of the same topics but, expand on them. I want to do this because the devil and the spirit of Antichrist are masters at twisting truth. Remember, the definition of iniquity is twisting the truth.
My articles concentrate on truth because God’s truth is the only way to set anyone truly free. Not long ago we celebrated the feast of Passover, which all about freedom from slavery but, Jesus taught that he who sins is a slave to sin. What good is it to be freed from Egypt if the sins of Egypt are still in your heart? We have all struggled with this battle and have all fallen to the temptations of Egypt (the world). But, that doesn’t negate the power of the blood of the Lamb to do it’s work of deliverance when mixed with faith and obedience because God stands behind that Lamb! And He revealed the secret of overcoming the sin – Continue reading
