A Word of Hope

Israel and Anita

Israel and Anita

As I was filing my taxes this year, I was forced to look back on the year 2019. In January, my wife of 60 years was suddenly taken from me. She collapsed while walking down our hallway and went to be with the Lord. I was in shock and walked through her funeral in a daze as my children and grandchildren gave her a wonderful and touching last goodbye. Then a few short months later my third son Israel lost his battle with cancer and went to be with Jesus. I’ll never forget as I rubbed my fingers through his hair, he was looking out his bedroom window and his mouth was open as if welcoming Jesus. It still brings tears to my eyes. One of Israel’s sons, Micah, wrote and performed this song to honor the struggle Israel had in his battle.

Yes, 2019 was filled with much pain but in it all I give thanks to God who walked with me through it all. I can say with the psalmist – Continue reading

Passover 2020

passoverA very important Christian event is happening soon on April 9th, and I’m not referring to Easter. April 9th will be Passover, or Pesach in Hebrew. Passover is the first Feast of the Lord (Remember there are 7) in the Biblical year and  was marked in 2014-2015 by a Blood Red Moon Tetrad. As I wrote in 2015 Blood Red Moons“Heavenly signs are God’s warnings of things to come and 2014 began a series of 4 blood red moons that occur on Biblical Feast days.” The two BRM’s of 2014 did indeed set the stage for increased trouble both for Israel and the world! The American Problem

Baby-boyEurope has been facing a crisis level birth rate for many years and now it has caught up with America. While each woman needs a birth rate of 2.1 children to replace the current population, the current rate is only 1.7.  A recent news article highlights the problem –

“The United States birth rate remains well below the replacement level needed as white American births plummet in all 50 states and the District of Colombia.”

This is just one more evidence of America’s turn away from God. Scripture proclaims that children are a reward from God. Continue reading

The Importance of Family

In 2016 I wrote an article named Return to the Family in which I highlighted the importance of family. At that time we were in the throws of a Presidential election and the news media was going wild with speculations and propaganda. Even though the election was won by Donald Trump, it seems as if the battle for our mind is continuing by the so-called news media. In that article I wrote –

“As the upcoming Presidential election draws near, many voices are flooding the airways proclaiming their perceived answers to our problems, each trying to drown out the other. The noise is so disharmonious as to cause a normal person to click the off switch, especially when one understands they are speaking lies and half-truths for the most part and that most of the “news media” does not disseminate news at all, but just the propaganda they have sold out to!”

The Battle for Creation

Paul writes to Timothy, “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons” and friends, we are in those ‘latter times’. The Bible begins with the creation, and the final act of creation was to create mankind.

“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” – Gen. 1:27

Among the powers God gave to mankind was the power to procreate, to have children. In fact the first command given by God to man is to “be fruitful and multiply”. God even calls children a heritage and a blessing – Continue reading

The Covenant of Christmas

Malachi is the last book of the Old Testament and it is interesting that the last words of the book have to do with remembering and family.

“Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, With the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” – Malachi 4:4-6 Continue reading

Being a Mighty Man

day of elijah I can’t get away from believing that 2018 is a pivotal year for all the world but, especially for America and Israel. In America it is obvious that many have drifted away from the Biblical view we once had as a nation. Our belief in the value of every human life has  democrat pride been eroded by the doctrines of convenience. An entire political party has fallen prey to these anti-American values and while I could pick many of these lost values to highlight, I will stress only one – abortion, which is the willful destruction of a life deemed  unworthy to live. The Democrat party showed its true colors at its 2016 National Convention held in Philadelphia where they proudly proclaimed themselves as the Abortion Party! And there are many in other political parties that would also agree with Continue reading

The Great Falling Away – 2nd edition

harlot48Paul warned of a great ‘falling away’ to happen just before the Antichrist appears. He is speaking of those who proclaim to be Christian but, by their lifestyles they are resisting the work of Jesus. They are doing the Devil’s work instead of the work of God even though they may claim to be Christian. They are the children of the Great Whore of Babylon who is clothed in the royal colors and garments of the Church but is really riding the Beast of Revelation.

Of such are all the churches that are claiming a ‘replacement theology’ which denies God’s stated promises to restore Israel. God clearly states –

“Then say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land;” – Ezek. 37:21 and

“Hear the word of the LORD, O nations, And declare it in the isles afar off, and say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, And keep him as a shepherd does his flock.’ – Jer. 31″10

2018 Passover

I

Passover 2018Passover is coming! This year it begins in the evening of March 30th and goes to the 31st. The Hebrew month is Nisan,  which is the first month –

“This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. – Exodus 12:1

Later in this article, I will explain why this important. But, there are many facts about Passover that we should remember.

First, it marks the beginning of deliverance from slavery. Most of us think we have never seen slavery but, we have! Jesus taught –

“Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.” – John 8:34 Continue reading
