Walking Through the Land

In the early hours of this morning, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said “Arise and walk through the land!” He asked “What did you see?” and I said, “I see people going about their lives, working, shopping, playing, and watching entertainment.” Then I entered the churches of the land and He again asked, “What did you see?” In some churches I saw the preacher up front and the people sitting in the pews but, the people seemed to be asleep as the preacher seemed to be telling them fairy tales. In other churches there seemed to be a celebration going on with loud music and lights leading the people who were dancing and happily enjoying all the noise. In a few churches I saw the minister up front with his Bible open and he was calling the  people to repent and receive the Lord. I saw the people in tears, kneeling, and worshiping the Lord. The Return of Elijah

then and nowThis blog is dedicated to the prophetic words of the Bible and God’s servants, the prophets, both ancient and modern. And there is one prophetic word that has always been dear to me, it is the prophesy about the coming of Elijah before the coming of the Lord.

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” – Mal. 4:5, 6 Continue reading

Blessing or Curse – the Choice is Ours

AbortionThis is one prophecy many do not like to think about. It exposes the root cause of almost all our problems as people and as a nation. It is the leading cause of the overwhelming majority of death in our country. Yet most are not willing to acknowledge it. What is this great evil that is exposed by this prophecy?

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” – Mal. 4:5,6

Lessons from the Church of Pergamum

The Church of Pergamum was known as the ‘compromising church’ because it tried to mix worldliness with righteousness. It can’t be done – in the end they would lose both! I begin this article with the video on Pergamum –

When the Greek successor of Alexander the Great, Antiochus IV Epiphanes,  invaded Israel he took over the Temple and desecrated it by erecting an altar to Zeus. He even sacrificed a pig on the altar. It was forever after referred to as the “abomination of desolation”. Continue reading

Ready of Not

(God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen by Day of Eternity7 of my 30 Grandchildren)

As the song plays, I want to share a great truth with you all – it’s about family. I have important news for all of you but, especially for my grandchildren, and especially the boys – you don’t get to choose your ancestors! God does that for you and you just have to live with it and make the best of it! Below is an example of what I mean –  Continue reading

Emmanu-El by Day of Eternity

day-of-eternity-group

For my 80th birthday I received a special gift and I want to share some of it with you because it helps define what true riches are – family. While I have 8 wonderful children, 30 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren and all of them are precious and special – each in their own way, seven of them worked on a special gift for me – a music album for Christmas. They named themselves Day of Eternity and the album is named Emmanu-El, Continue reading

The Joy of Thanksgiving

how far we've come“That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.” – Psalm 26:7

Today we celebrate Thanksgiving. Family (at least some 40 of them) will gather to enjoy one another and to give thanks to God for His faithfulness to us. King David learned the value of thanksgiving so that he wanted to “publish” it to all. The word for publish is shama`, which means ‘to hear, listen to, obey’.  It is both a noun and a verb. Not only should we be thankful for God’s blessings to us but, we should also listen to all His words and be faithful to obey them and we should declare them as well.  As Acts proclaims –

“Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him. – Acts 5:31,32

In a few days, I will have my 80th birthday and I want to publish the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord to me. I grew up in Wyoming, living in an old 40′ railroad car that was made into a trailer home of sorts. We had an outdoor toilet and our refrigerator was a hole in the ground that had a box fitted into it. Just before I entered the Navy in 1956 I met my wife who was teaching school in Cody, Wyoming. Three years later we were married and I began an adventure that has never ended. After the Navy, I settled in Wisconsin, where my wife was from, and began college. The next milestone in my adventure happened in my Junior year of college when my wife’s Uncle invited me to a little country Lutheran Church to hear a Norwegian evangelist who preached the Word of God. I heard it and responded and since that time my life has been more exciting than I could have ever imagined it would be! The mile markers of my life have seemed to stream by: baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1967, the precious gifts of 8 children, teaching math and physics in High

Chuck's 70th+2

Though they are much older now, they are just as sweet!

School then in college, teaching and ministering God’s word in many places, Pastoring several churches, amazed and overwhelmed with the joy of 30 grandchildren and 4 great-Grandchildren, our house burning down only to be presented with a brand new home of my dreams, and the list goes on and on. Only God knows my future but, by faith I know it will be good in the Lord. That is the source of my Thanksgiving this year.

I can testify with confidence that if you will give God thanks for your life, listen to His Word and obey it, and not be ashamed to proclaim God’s goodness in your life – your life can be fulfilled in ways you never expected. The abundance of God’s love toward us is without measure and often un-imagined in our thinking. This Thanksgiving step out in faith and give God thanks for His past blessings but, also for His blessings in your future. You will be pleasantly surprised at what God will do.

Return to the Family

As the upcoming Presidential election draws near, many voices are flooding the airways proclaiming their perceived answers to our problems, each trying to drown out the other. The noise is so disharmonious as to cause a normal person to click the off switch, especially when one understands they are speaking lies and half-truths for the most part and that most of the “news media” does not disseminate news at all, but just the propaganda they have sold out to!

blood-moon-tetrad-2014-2015

The last two years, 2014-2015, have displayed the heavenly signs of a Biblical Blood Red Moon Tetrad (four consecutive red moons on Passover and Sukkot) and ushered in a Jubilee year which I believe is highlighting the only message worth listening to – return to God while there is time! The messages are clear for those with eyes to see and ears to listen and I will list some of them – Continue reading
