To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me. Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause. Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths.” – Ps. 25:1-4
Remember the story of Lot in Sodom? God was about to judge Sodom because of their wickedness, which went much further than just sodomy. But, as Abraham interceded with God, it was determined that if God could find even 10 righteous people there, He would not judge it. Now most know the result of those negotiations but, I want to draw your attention to another aspect of the story and that is the value of righteous people.
