“A Psalm of David.
To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me. Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause. Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths.” – Ps. 25:1-4
Remember the story of Lot in Sodom? God was about to judge Sodom because of their wickedness, which went much further than just sodomy. But, as Abraham interceded with God, it was determined that if God could find even 10 righteous people there, He would not judge it. Now most know the result of those negotiations but, I want to draw your attention to another aspect of the story and that is the value of righteous people. Sodom could have been saved if just 10 righteous people could have been found! Continue reading
“These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive; but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.
