It is December 16th and the fake news is declaring Joe Biden the winner of the Presidential election but remember, they are not to be trusted. Joe Biden is not President and the process is not yet finished. Yesterday as I was thinking about all this clamor the fake news is making, the Lord spoke to me and said, “Remember Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego.” You remember the story, King Nebuchadnezzar had made a golden image that was 60 cubits high and 6 cubits wide (666) and he commanded everyone to bow down and worship it. Then all the people gathered before the image and the king’s herald announced –

“Then a herald cried aloud: “To you it is commanded, O peoples, nations, and languages, that at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, you shall fall down and worship the gold image that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up; and whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. So at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the horn, flute, harp, and lyre, in symphony with all kinds of music, all the people, nations, and languages fell down and worshiped the gold image which King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.” – Dan. 3:4-7

The king’s command reminded me of our governor’s commands to bow down to Covid19 and accept the outcome of a fraudulent election and the news media is the orchestra of horns, flutes, lyres, and psalteries echoing the command to wear your masks and stand 6 feet apart. And they are amplifying the fear as well. With Nebuchadnezzar it was to be thrown into a fiery furnace, but with us it is to get the dreaded Covid19 virus!

But word came to the king that there were certain Jews who would not bow down! “They do not serve your gods or worship the gold image which you have set up”. So the King brought them before him to give an answer and he threatened them:

“Now if you are ready at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, and you fall down and worship the image which I have made, good! But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?” – Dan. 3:15

They answered not with the word of fear but the word of faith:

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” – Dan. 3:167-18

Then the king was furious and ordered the furnace to be heated up seven times more than it was usually heated and he had them thrown in! But then an amazing thing happened – they saw four men in the fire!

“Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”– Dan. 3:25

As I think about the election, I remember that God showed up at the last moment for Shadrack, Meshack, and Abed-nego and He got all the glory. Even the king blessed God –

“Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God!” – Dan. 3:28

Shadrack, Meshack, and Abed-nego did not yield to the fear, they did not bow down to the gods of this world, and were willing to yield their bodies to God Almighty. They did not yield to the horns and flutes of the media of their day and they did not listen to their proclamations to a false idol.

I know this election was stolen with false ballots and rigged voting machines and I will not accept the proclamations of a false media, no matter how loud they may play their horns. I will not give into fear for God has not given me a spirit of fear but, of love and a sound mind! They have set up their golden image which is driven by money but, I for one will not bow down to it! I pray you will not either.

God is going to win this election for us. I don’t believe He will forsake the United States which was founded to give Him glory. He will enter the fire with us and deliver us! Hang on!

Though it may seem as if we are in the fire, remember, the Son of God is there with us!
