To fully understand the Year of Jubilee we must look at Leviticus.
The 7th month is Tishri, the first day of which is always a new moon, and it announces the Feast of Trumpets, the time of alarm and trouble for Israel. This year it falls on September 13th and is also the time of a complete eclipse, which announces trouble for the nations.
10 days later the Day of Atonement, which signaled the opening of the book of judgment in heaven. The trumpets are sounding the alarms of war and God is warning His people to get ready for the Day of Atonement. A key element of this warning is to restore the family! Continue reading
