As I look at the landscape that surrounds me, both political and religious, all I see is darkness, deep darkness. It is as Isaiah prophesied so long ago –
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. I can’t get away from believing that 2018 is a pivotal year for all the world but, especially for America and Israel. In America it is obvious that many have drifted away from the Biblical view we once had as a nation. Our belief in the value of every human life has 
been eroded by the doctrines of convenience. An entire political party has fallen prey to these anti-American values and while I could pick many of these lost values to highlight, I will stress only one – abortion, which is the willful destruction of a life deemed unworthy to live. The Democrat party showed its true colors at its 2016 National Convention held in Philadelphia where they proudly proclaimed themselves as the Abortion Party! And there are many in other political parties that would also agree with
