The Return to the Days of Noah

endtimesignsMany end-time signs predicted in the Bible are happening now, from signs in the heavens, bird-fish-beasts mass die offs, political re-alignments, to blooming of the fig tree (Israel). In this article I want to highlight another sign that Jesus warned would also be a harbinger of the end times – the days of Noah.

“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” – Matt. 24:37-39

Hidden Truth from Enoch

Noah's dayThere are many mysteries written in both the Old and New Testaments and some of them are key to understanding the end times. For example, when teaching His Disciples about the end times, Jesus referred them to the ‘days of Noah’.

But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, “and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” – Matt. 24:37-39

But, we today have difficulty understanding the full context of this teaching because we do not have all the information about the days of Noah that His Disciples had. All most of Continue reading

The Blood Red Moons Revisited p4

BRM ShavuotMany of the Feasts of the Lord contain an agricultural background as do many of the parables Jesus gave – such as the parable of the Sower in Matthew 13:3. But, no one sows seed without expecting a harvest and so it is with God. Shavuot (Pentecost) is such a Feast. It was called the Feast of Weeks and marked the in-gathering of the vital, life sustaining wheat harvest. But, as with all of the Feasts of the Lord, it contained a deeper meaning as well. It marked the anniversary of the day God gave the Torah (tablets of Law) to Israel at Mt. Sinai. This giving of the Law stood for the covenant between God and the 12 tribes of Continue reading

The Rise of the Nephilim

The Bible introduces a strange tale concerning the wickedness of man that eventually led to man’s destruction in the Flood of Noah’s day.

“And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” – Genesis 6:1-5

Signposts pointing to the End

closing of the ageJesus gives graphic signs of the approaching end, call them signposts. They involved natural disasters, such as hurricanes and tornadoes, floods, droughts and earthquakes, increased deceptions and wars and rumors of wars. Now the world has always had these disasters but, Jesus is talking about their increasing magnitude and frequency – He said they would be like birth pangs. If you don’t know what they are, ask a woman who has born children.
