As riots and burning of buildings sweep the land and as fears of a renewed outbreak of the Covid19 virus abound, I want to remind you of the word of the Lord –

“But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.” – Isa. 43:1

Is the ‘One New Man’ Forming?

jesus-among-the-lampstandsOne sign that we are nearing the end of the age is the joining of Jew and Gentile in the Body of Christ. As Paul wrote to the Ephesians –

“Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;” – Eph. 2:11-19 Continue reading →

The Meaning of End Time Signs

We have been seeing signs in the heavens for several years now warning us of the lateness of the hour. The following video gives us a thumbnail view of the message of Revelation 12.

There were 1260 days between the beginning of the Blood Red Moon Tetrad and the fulfillment of the Virgo sign, or 3½ years, a significant time in Daniel’s 70 week prophesy and the Book of Revelation. There were also 7 years between the fulfillment of the Virgo sign and the Taurus sign, also a significant time in Daniel’s prophesy. We just heard the news of Rev. Billy Graham’s passing and most people who knew of him respected him. He showed the answer to all the problems that face us in this age – Jesus Christ. The people who came to his crusades didn’t need to be told their lives were a mess, they already knew it. What they needed was for someone to point the way out of their troubles and ‘Billy’ did just that. The answer to every problem was Jesus. He didn’t pull any punches and he acknowledged the problems but then pointed to the answer in Jesus. Continue reading →

The Last Trump

one-new-manToday there is much confusion about salvation and how to attain it. Some preachers, anxious to please men, say there are many ways to God. Some say we are saved totally by grace and repentance is not required, some say we can be saved and yet accept such abominations as abortion, homosexuality, or idolatry (the act of giving to another what belongs solely to God). Their message seems to be summed up by ‘what you can get from God’ and not ‘what you should give to God’. Jude, a brother of James writes about them –

“These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.” – Jude 1:12,13

God’s Overview of the End

144000-4-638Revelation chapter 14 begins with the sealing of 144,000 servants of God who were virgins

“These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.” – Rev. 14:4

Who are these? And what does it mean that they were virgins? Strong’s Concordance identifies them – “a man who has abstained from all uncleanness and whoredom attendant on idolatry, and so has kept his chastity” In other words, they are sold out to God and not distracted by any lusts of the flesh. I don’t believe it means they were effeminate or unmarried. They are like Peter, who was married, but wholly committed to follow Jesus. They follow the Lamb wherever He goes. The Revelation of Hanukkah pt 3

When learning about Hanukkah we are drawn to the prophet Daniel because he first prophesied about these times.

“And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation” – Daniel 11:31

The beginning of these abominations (they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation) happened by the Greek ruler Antiochus IV Epiphanes but, as we have seen by the words of Jesus and Paul, it was not to be the last. We must look further in Daniel for he full picture which he gives in his revelation of 70 Weeks. Continue reading →

The Revelation of Hanukkah

Unless you celebrate the 12 days of Christmas, most Christians have finished their traditions concerning the birth of our Savior, Jesus. However, our Jewish friends are celebrating the festival of Hanukkah which began December 24, 2016 and ends January 1, 2017. Since the New Testament teaches that we Christians have been “grafted into” the olive tree of Israel — it would be fitting for us, who name the Name of Christ, to understand Hanukkah.
