As I watched the first Presidential debate, I was greatly disappointed. I was disappointed in the moderator’s style, who felt he had to inject his opinions before each question, and at his choice of questions. I was disappointed at the former Vice President’s seeming lack of ability to answer the questions truthfully (questions to which I knew the answer from his previous answers and actions), or completely skirting the question. And I was disappointed in President Trump’s failure to remain calm and answer the question by clearly listing the things I know he has done. I’ve seen a listing of things he has done in his first term and it is long and impressive. Perhaps it was more the moderator’s fault for not asking the right questions but, I felt the debate failed in its objective to bring out the truth. Because, as Jesus said – Continue reading

Separating the Goats from the Sheep
As Jesus opened His ministry, He read from the prophet Isaiah –
“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” – Luke 4:18, 19
He went to the outcasts of society, to those who were bruised and oppressed by the devil, Continue reading
Chose Whom You Will Serve
Put on the Armor of God
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:” – 2 Timothy 3:1
This was Paul’s warning to Timothy. He followed it by a lengthy explanation of the problems that would come and how to counteract them. He then told Timothy that if he would follow Paul’s warning, he would be equipped for victory:
“that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” – 2 Timothy 3:17 Continue reading
The Last Days

Trump declares the Golan Israel’s
President Trump recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan and the West Bank this week. Even though the UN challenged this move there is little they can do to change it. A significant number of Arab states are going along with it and the US’s economic strength is so overwhelming as to cancel any moves on that front. Militarily, Russia, Syria, Iran and Turkey have had an end-run performed on them. The Golan was the main target for Russia’s focus because of its oil and gas reserves and they were planning on taking it, through the UN if it could, or militarily if need be. Now, all they are left with is a military option – forecasting Ezekiel 38 war of Gog and Magog? Continue reading
Encouragement for These Days
(Song of Job by Day of Eternity – used by permission)
The Book of Ephesians is a letter written by the Apostle Paul to Gentile Christians living in Ephesus. And it is full of encouraging words and deep revelations for the Christian.
“Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” – Eph. 1:1-3
Some prophecy teachers who want to espouse a pre-tribulation rapture say the term ‘saints’ refers only to Jewish people but Paul clearly debunks that theory by writing to the ‘saints’ in Ephesus, which was a Gentile church. Saints are clearly those who believe and confess Jesus as Lord and savior. Continue reading

The word ‘perilous’ was translated from a Greek word that meant ‘hard to bear, troublesome, dangerous, harsh, fierce, savage.’ Paul even went so far as to identify the kind of people he was talking about: Continue reading
The Slippery Slope of Evolution
Know this also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. – 2 Timothy 3:1
Paul goes on to warn Timothy about the nature of the dangerous elements that will afflict mankind in the last days, and they all have to do with man himself! He then lists their main faults –
“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
