Jesus warned of “birth pangs” that would announce His second coming.

“But when you hear of wars and commotions (riots and revaluations), do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately.” Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. “And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.” – Luke 21:9-11

Famines have been around ever since Jesus spoke these words. Wikipedia records the history of famines right up to modern times. Although famines have decreased over the years the decade of the 2000’s still has significant numbers. For example, in Yemen from 2016 to the present some 65,000 children and an unknown number of adults have died due to starvation. This was due to war with Saudi Arabia. On 22 June 2021, the World Food Programme warned that 41 million were on the brink of famine across 43 countries, while 584,000 were already experiencing famine-like conditions in Ethiopia, Madagascar, South Sudan and Yemen.

Now on the subject of ‘pestilences’ I must tread cautiously because of the political correctness being forced upon us. Strong’s Concordance describes this word as ‘a plague (literally, the disease’ or figuratively, a pest). The current outbreak of the Covid19 virus certainly fits and some are calling it a Pandemic (an outbreak of a disease that occurs over a wide geographic area (such as multiple countries or continents). As new facts are emerging about this virus, it seems plausible that it is a man-made virus that got lose or was purposely let lose. Which brings us to the later part of Strong’s definition – a pest! Scripture describes the use of this term in another verse in the Book of Acts –

“For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:” – Acts 24:5

Here the word is used of a person who purposely spreads dissention and sedition among others. When I first began studying Jesus’ predictions of the end of the age, I never thought of the word ‘pestilence’ being caused by men as a weapon to further their own ends. But, it is a clear use of the word in Scripture. At the risk of running afoul of the Facebook blockers, I will refer you to a modern day description of such people.

UPDATE:

As more information is coming out about the Chinese virus and the related vaccines prepared for it there is much to report. The nation of Britain issued a report saying “The UK government admits that vaccines have damaged the natural immune system of those who have been double-vaccinated. The UK government has admitted that once you have been double-vaccinated, you will never again be able to acquire full natural immunity to Covid variants – or possibly any other virus. . .. the report elsewhere shows that vaccinated adults are now much more likely to be infected than unvaccinated ones). The British now find that the vaccine interferes with the body’s ability to make antibodies after infection not only against the spike protein but also against other parts of the virus. In particular, vaccinated people do not appear to form antibodies against the nucleocapsid protein, the envelope of the virus, which is a crucial part of the response in unvaccinated people. In the long term, the vaccinated are far more susceptible to any mutations in the spike protein, even if they have already been infected and cured once or more. The unvaccinated, on the other hand, will gain lasting, if not permanent, immunity to all strains of the alleged virus after being naturally infected with it even once.

The Mask Mandates have failed. Facebook is now declaring that the CDC fed it false information about the vaccines and Italian Doctors have now presented proof that the mRNA vaccines are filled with ‘Foreign Metal-Like Objects’ in 94 Percent of Sample Group of Symptomatic People Who Took mRNA Vaccines’. These ‘graphene-family super-structures’ form nano sized computers in the blood stream and are responsible for many side effects from the vaccine.

It is now evident that one cannot trust the NIH, the CDC, or the WHO for reliable information based on science alone.
