Remember, we will all face God’s Judgment
As we proceed through Jesus’ letters to the seven churches we come to the second church which is often known as the suffering church – Smyrna. Jesus wants to prepare His Church for facing persecution. That is what this letter is about because Jesus knows that all who will live godly will suffer persecution and we must be strong enough to go through it. We will begin with a video on the church of Smyrna.
One of the phrases used in this letter is “I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are of the synagogue of Satan”. Jesus dealt with this problem often during His ministry. Continue reading →
In the United States, we are just a few days from the Presidential election and the voice of confusion (the Bible would call it Babel) is echoing through the land. What is called the news media is really just a propaganda machine for Hillary Clinton and leaves a distaste in any thinking person’s mouth. But, there is also the Social media crowd which is pumping
out volumes of posts and tweaks for one side or the other – choosing which are true or false is a coin toss. Meanwhile our elected officials are passing laws which are feathering their own nests all in the name of the people but, the People’s Constitution is burning because of a simple truth – a government is never any better than the people it governs. Our founding Fathers knew this country’s blessings depended upon our obedience to God’s principles.
“The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained.”

As I listen to all the news and proclamations concerning the Paris attack of the Islamic State, I am saddened by the lack of understanding exhibited by those speaking. Our President and his administration seem unwilling to even mention the name Islam in connection with the problem when ISIS or ISIL clearly state they are acting in obedience to the Koran and call themselves the true Islam. Hillary Clinton, the often acknowledged front-runner of the Democratic presidential race, even declared “We are not at war with ISIS!”. We are witnessing stupidity glorified by political correctness among our leaders.
The so-called peace loving adherents to Islam, who claim to be the majority, also are become suspiciously silent in publicly condemning those who are supposedly corrupting their religion. The facts are that Islam has always been a political-religious system that believes in ascendancy. The only times they have been “peaceful” are when they have subjugated everyone else in the neighborhood or they have been too weak to exert their goals of dominance. That includes those who are of a different denomination within Islam, such as Sunni or Shea. Even when they are at “peace” they denigrate all others under their control to a second-class subsistence. This is their historical record. Why can so many in the United States not understand what is so clearly evident?
I believe the prophet Jeremiah has the answer for us.
For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. – Jeremiah 2:13
America was founded upon Christian foundational principles, as all our founding Fathers and documents declare. We were Christian nation and our Common Law was based on Biblical principles. We allowed “strangers” in the land but we did not allow them to dictate our culture – there was no Sharia Law for example! But, we have forsaken our founding principles which were like living water to us and instead have hewed out new cisterns which are broken. They may be “politically correct” but they can hold no water!
If Americans do not return to their founding belief in God and trust in the saving grace of Jesus Christ, nothing else will deliver us from this present trouble. The Bible’s King David declares the answer to ISIS –
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. – Psalm 20:7
If we do not head this advice, we will experience more of what France recently did.
Obama Threatens to Allow a Palestinian State
Obama Calls on Israel to End “Occupation” and Commit to Peace.
US President Barack Obama called on the new Israeli government to show “a genuine commitment to a two-state solution” and resolve what he called the humanitarian crisis in Gaza following last summer’s war. This statement shows the utter falseness of President Obama.
To Israel from Gaza
First, the only “genuine commitment” that would ever satisfy the Islamic Hamas in Gaza would be for Israel to commit mass suicide! Israel has made many genuine commitments to peace with the Palestinians over the past 50 years only to be rebuffed by the Muslims and answered with rockets, riots, and killing of Israeli civilians. But, Obama never seems to highlight this as they would not fit his repeated claims that Islam is a ‘peaceful’ religion!
Second, if Obama and the Muslims really want a two-state solution why not divide Continue reading →
Presbyterian Church in Gay Pride March
United Church of Christ in Gay Pride March
I posted an earlier article named No More Time for Political Correctness in which I urged Christians to stop giving in to those who are willing to blame Christianity for all the ills of this world and who put forth the idea that we should not ‘offend‘ anyone and basically keep silent! I’ve noticed that the political correct disciples always want everyone else to keep quiet about what they believe but they seem to be vocal in the extreme about everything they believe! Sadly, even some Christian Churches are giving in to the pressure.
The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

All it takes for evil to triumph is for “good men” to do nothing! This is a paraphrased edition of an old saying. But, it is certainly true yet today. When it comes to violent Islamic extremism the “good” Muslims are strangely silent! Meanwhile, so-called Islamic extremist are growing in number and influence. The Bible teaches that if a tree never brings forth good fruit, the ax should be applied to the root.
“And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. – Matthew 3:10
Yet, instead of these actions, we have our leaders claiming Islam is a religion of peace and shifting the blame to the United States for our so-called weaknesses. (See article in American Thinker). The Political Correctness doctrine used by most American higher education, news media, and government has blinded us to what is really happening. The evidence points to the conclusion that Islam has not been taken over by radical extremist but is itself the problem. Continue reading →
