The Prophetic Nature of Christmas (2)

In 2016, I wrote a post called The Prophetic Nature of Christmas in which I highlighted the war being waged against parents and their children. It is such an important message that I re-post it here.

As we are just a few days from Christmas it would be good to reflect where we are in God’s plan for mankind. We know the Hebrew people had the promise of Messiah’s coming long before He actually came and when He really did come, many in Israel missed it because they were looking for a warrior King who would re-establish the kingdom of David. They forgot that God loved all people, all His creation, as much as He did His people Israel. God foreknew most of Israel would reject their Messiah and so the door would be open for all people to come into the Kingdom of God through the Grace that was won by Jesus on the cross. The Covenant of Christmas

Malachi is the last book of the Old Testament and it is interesting that the last words of the book have to do with remembering and family.

“Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, With the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” – Malachi 4:4-6 Continue reading

Raise up a Child

America is facing many crises right now and most of them are of our own making. For a least a generation we have been entrusting our children to public schools and colleges that have been infected with a John Dewey world view which is socialistic and anti-God in nature.

The above picture is of rioters protesting the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States. Rather than embracing the Constitutional formula of the transfer of power they react with burning, looting, and mayhem. You will notice that they are mostly young Continue reading
