When I was in the Navy, I had a friend on the ship I served on who became a Catholic and I used to argue with him about the Catholic faith. One day I asked him why he became a Catholic. His answer startled me. He said, “I don’t know if it is correct or not but, it is a good insurance policy.” Now, I don’t know if you are a Catholic, Protestant, Pentecostal, or Charismatic, I hope your reason for being that is based on more than just having an insurance policy because God doesn’t sell insurance. Trumpets of Judgment
“And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.” – Revelation 8:1
As the 7th seal is opened there is silence in heaven where normally there is constant praise and worship. Why? I believe it is because God is grieving for the judgments that are about to be released on those God created. God told Ezekiel –
“Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?'” – Ezekiel 33:11 Continue reading
The Throne of God
“And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
