In the Book of Revelation as John is called up into heaven, he saw God sitting on the throne and holding a scroll which was sealed with seven seals. An angel proclaimed with a loud voice – “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?”. But no one was found in heaven or earth that was able to open the scroll, or to look at it. What is this scroll and why is it so important? This scroll contains the final history of man and the creation. What began in the Creation also will have an ending and this scroll tells it all. Revelation 19 and 20 describes the final acts of this age. It begins with the separation of the true Church from the false church (the Whore of Babylon) and the judgement of the false church and proceeds quickly to the marriage of the Lamb.
“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.” – Rev. 19:7-9
