Freedom to Speak as a Christian

mystery of lawlessness

Christians need to speak out on the issues facing us.

We are facing a war, a war of ideas and the outcome will be life changing for all of us. I do not elect to remain silent, even though many will think this war is too political and Christians should be only concerned with the spiritual and confined inside the four walls of their churches. That however, was not the attitude of early preachers. During the revolution well over 50% of sermons were political and they clearly showed the effect of the spiritual on the political. It has been a trick of the devil to mussel preachers of the Gospel by telling them to not endorse a political candidate or speak on controversial topics. So here goes! The Bible states – Continue reading

The Face of Lawlessness

Practicing lawlessness is a serious offence to God and those who do it will suffer serious consequences. Hear the words of Jesus, the Son of God.

“The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” – Matt. 13:41,42 Continue reading

You shall be given a New Heart

year of the treesWe are all dependent upon the root of Jesse, Jew and Gentile alike. The Jews are the ‘natural branch’ and the Gentiles are the ‘wild branch‘ that was grafted in. Paul writes –

“And again, Isaiah says: “There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall hope.”” – Rom. 15:12

God is the God of all people and He always planned to bring them together into one in Jesus, who is the ‘Root of Jesse’Continue reading

The Great Falling Away

The saints in the Thessalonian Church were worried that the Day of Christ had happened and they had been left behind which prompted Paul to write this word of correction to them –

“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,” – 2 Thes. 2:3

What is this ‘falling away’ Paul is talking about? It is certainly not talking about the people of the world for they have never found Christ from which to fall away. Rather, it is talking about those who claim to be followers of Jesus Christ, leaders in the Christian Church, who once knew Jesus, falling away from the truth Jesus proclaimed. This falling away happens at the end of this age just before the Antichrist is revealed, or along with his revealing. Continue reading

How to be a Blessed Nation

John Adams, President of the United States of America

The Bible declares “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.” – Psalm 33:12. And there was a time when the leaders of this nation believed that.

We basically have a two party political system in this country; Republican and Democrat you say? No; God vs. No God! The Democrats have sold out to atheism and Islam and now they even want to remove the phrase “So help me God” from witness statements before Congress as the following video shows – Continue reading

Wise or Foolish

10-virgins“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.” – Matt. 25:1-13 Continue reading
