God is giving us a chance to see what being under the rule of the ungodly will be like. He is giving us a chance to repent for our lukewarmness and lack of faith for the last election. A remnant of the Church did pray but, only a small portion. But, there was not really much repentance that went on for the sins of the nation. It was like after 9/11, many went back to church but, there was not much repentance. God wants whole-hearted repentance and obedience and He doesn’t want us depending on the ‘arm of flesh’ but on Him.

Did God want Donald Trump as America’s President? Did He really speak to the prophets? Yes, I believe He does and He did. But, why? Because He wants revival in America so it can fulfill it’s destiny. Just as God remembers the covenant He made with Abraham. Isaac, and Jacob so He remembers the covenant He made with our fore-fathers. He wants America to be ‘a city shinning on a hill’ , a beacon for freedom for the world to see. He wants revival in America where we are not looking to a political party or government for our help but, to Him alone! I don’t know what God is going to do but, whatever it is, He is going to get all the glory for it. Just remember time is in His hands and our times are also in His hands.

Remember God “is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth” (Psalm 96). Whatever God does, it will involve the Truth and righteousness. So, people start living righteously and speaking the truth. Because God is not done yet!

This is the word of faith. I remember 58 years ago when the Lord found me. It was in a small Lutheran Church listening to an evangelist from Norway named R.P. Hawkenson. I was a Junior in college studying Chemistry and Physics and the word he preached brought me to my knees. He had me read Revelation 3:20 –

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” – Rev. 3:20-22

I asked Jesus to come into my heart that night and He has never left. That is the word we need to be declaring today. both to the lost and the saved. To the saved because you need to ask Jesus to be in your heart everyday. To the lost because they desperately need Jesus in their hearts.

But, notice that phrase “To him that overcometh” I will grant to sit with Me. There has to be a struggle in order to overcome. Well, friends we are in a struggle right now, a struggle against evil and darkness. America is under attack from demons of socialism and communism and all sorts of wickedness. We need to be filled with the Holy Spirit so we can hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church. But, be of good cheer for the Lord is for us and He wants to come to our aid if we will turn to Him.
